A very unusual event has just occurred.

I just met with Moridin, Xander and Xander's sister(Kate) at the Reindeer Pub, Norwich and very pleasant it was too!

This is a very unusual event in Internet terms... to be able to meet with TWO fellow forum members in the same place and quaff a pint or two is extremely unusual indeed.

I look forward to future meetings!

Moridin had real-ale beer, Xander had Red Bull, Xander's sister(Kate) drank lemonade with something else and I was on Guinness.

YEs I was drinking Elgoods Golden newt, and Xander really was drinking neat redbull.... that guy is so hard core!

It was great to meet up and chat about nothing and everything all at once,

Will have to do again sometime!

Good morning Mancroft - an even more unusual event then - you weren't meeting 2 fellow intp members you were meeting 3! Xanders sister is me!

And we will have to do it again some time.

You're not being clear on if this meeting was coincidence or planned. If coincidence how did you come to recognize each other?

On Saturday AM Moridin detected that I was bored because of the nature of one of my posts and sent a PM suggesting that we meet up for a drink in the afternoon.

It was like walking through the door of a normal pub and then Mr Cleese chimes in with "and now for somethign completely different".

A revelation for myself as I had previously never met another INTP adn it's always nice to be able to confirm between two such soles that it's them thats crazy and not us!!

A definately repeatable experience to say the least.

Yep. I'd never met another confirmed INTP either but have probably come across people of our persuasion before without realising it.

Will have to do it again.
