How To Remove Parts Of Desktop Theme?

I am not sure where to post this. I deleted a halloween desktop theme from my home computer, however there remains a graphic of Casper at startup. Any suggestions on how to remove it, without doing a quick restore of the whole computer?

Thanks for the tip Hush. I had to register for the site to gain access to any information. When doing that, the forum responds that my information is not valid, although I received an email and activated the account.
