A while back, I had a problem with FF... it ate all my bookmarks. Five minutes ago... it gave them back, minus all my nifty new ones.
Grr.
I'm pretty sure they're still there somewhere, like this last set was... but how do I get to them? I don't want seperate profiles, I just want all my bookmarks in one place.
Help, please.

What's even funnier is that I have had my bookmarks in IE for over 5 years and even changed computers, yet I have not lost a single one.

I told you before, exhaustively.
Look where I said and make several copies of bookmarks.html
;P
You don't need separate profiles.

I know that I don't and there aren't seperate folders for the profiles. I can't get to one if I'm using the other, and I don't even get to make the choice about which one I'm using. I've only seen the select profile screen twice, and it has "Jim" and "default" ... and they're both invisible or something the rest of the time. I just did what I did last time, and pulled all my bookmarks that I really needed off the top of my head. Still... this is less trouble than IE.

click start > run
type in %appdata% press enter
click mozilla folder
click firefox
click profiles
look in both of those folders for a file called 'bookmarks.html' I think.
