View Full Version : Last Total Lunar Eclipse till 2007

Tonight in a few minutes on the East coast, (9:14pm), the lunar eclipse will begin. The full moon happens around 9pm here too. Go out and watch! After a while, it may turn orange/copper. Anyway, here is a link:

Wish I'd heard about this earlier... oh well. I would have forgotten about it and blamed myself, and this way I don't have to blame anybody, I just wasn't informed...

This was not visible on my area due to cloud cover. Bummer, it would have been neat to see.

I saw it. I was hoping it would get a better shade of red. As it was, I'd describe it as kind of brownish. Still neat though.

Clouds parted here for a brief moment. I was actually flying from Silicon Valley to home earlier in the evening. Above the clouds, the moon was some kind of bright! We were joking about it because we didn't expect to be able to see the eclipse.

I got to see it. It didn't turn that red, more of a brownish color - still pretty cool though.

I was pretty dark here. I took some pictures but wasn't happy with their turnout. :(
