V.I. Sherlock Holmes, please. The actor is Basil Rathbone.

INTP or ISTP

Jeremy Brett was a bit better than Rathbone.

Irrelevent. I'm VI-ing him as one.

He has those spaced-out, prescient eyes. Think Lee from 'The Apprentice'.

VI = Visual Identification.

VI = Visual Identification.

I see. Sorry. I still would say he's an introvert.

I would say that since it's a godamn actor, VI is even more useless than usual.

If you've read the stories, the man is a J. INTJ.

According to Watson Holmes has a "Bohemian soul". I think he's closer to P than J.

he's seriously a P, you just only ever see him when he's rampaging (possibly borderline bipolar or something, and those are his manic episodes)

He never uses deductive logic, only inductive. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inductive_logic) And he uses it to ridiculous degrees. So, whatever type does that. edit: probably ISTJ

I can't help but wonder what use this information is, so why is it that we keep asking these questions?

It's not like we'll do anything with the answer to this question. And it's not like the answer, in itself, will teach us anything (because this is an actor, and his facial expression is faked). The only argument in favor of doing this that I can see is that it's good training, but that is a really shitty argument in my mind.

maybe you should make a new thread about this, since much of it could pertain to any other thread in this forum.

answer: it's frivolous and no one cares

never mind that hardly anyone is even V.I-ing him, just typing him.

No, but why sherlock holmes? Why this particular actor? Is there a point, or was he chosen at random?
