From the mouth of Bin Ladin, or some cyborg put together by the Bush administration to influence the election.
http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/10/29/binladen.tape/index.html
He underscored it was U.S. foreign policy that led to the attacks, saying, "Bush has told you that we do not like freedom. Then, why didn't we hit Sweden?"
I guess that puts us off the hook. Not that anyone over here seriously believed al Qaeda would attack us... The pathetic thing is, this was on the front page on one of our largest newspapers online edition "Bin Ladin mentioned Sweden in speech". Yes, that is quite amazing. He probably just confused it with Switzerland, just like everybody else.
Coming from Bin Ladin, should the freedom thing be taken as a compliment? What does he know about it anyway, he's a fundamentalist...
Not that Dubya seems to care about it either.
It's nice to be neutral and stay out of things sometimes. But then again, we have no politics worthy of any interest.

Very strange.
This bit is so incomprensible and meaningless that it must be another CIA fake tape...
Bin Laden sharply criticized President Bush for his behavior on the morning of September 11, 2001, when the president was reading "My Pet Goat" to a group of schoolchildren in Florida at the time he was informed of the attacks.
"It never occurred that the highest leader of the military armed forces would leave 50,000 people to face the horror that they faced all by themselves when they needed him most," bin Laden said.
"He was more interested in listening to the child's story about the goat rather than worry about what was happening to the towers. So, that gave us double the time for us to execute our attacks."
Unless Osama was chewing hash at the time.
He underscored it was U.S. foreign policy that led to the attacks, saying, "Bush has told you that we do not like freedom. Then, why didn't we hit Sweden?"I guess that puts us off the hook.
Oh f***, I've been careful never to directly quote anyone who would be offensive to this forum, nor to provide clues to links of such; but in this case...
Lawyer Steele's latest diatribe was extremely funny and includes this:
Like the Bride of Frankenstein, America lurches forward into the dark and stormy night, ready to do the bidding of its evil master (can you say, "Israel," boys and girls?). Nearby, a cliff falls away into the darkness, with jagged rocks far below, beyond the visibility afforded by the gathering fog. Meanwhile, the townsfolk (that's us, for those who just arrived) are starting to wake one another (more of us) and collect firebrands and pitchforks.
"She's Alive," gloats the evil Dr. Ariel Frankensharon, all the while gesturing meaningfully toward Iran.
Casting aside the broken body of the small child named Iraq, Frankenamerica mumbles, "I just wanted her to love me. But she hated me. They always hate me. Why, Doctor? Why do they always hate me?"
"Because you are so strong...so free. They are jealous. Now they must pay..." hisses the evil Doctor.
Yeah, Osama is jealous: that's it.

It's sad how many people in the US believe that he (and other terrorists) are motivated simply by jealousy or of disapproval of US liberties.

Oh that was funny, where can one find the rest of it? I checked Google but lawyer steele didn't turn up...

I certainly didn't mean to be offensive to anyone, but I didn't think INTPs were supposed to care... But I am relatively new at this.

Na, you weren't offensive, but my referring to the anti-semitic Steele may be... I read everyone you see, pro and anti this and that. And I agree with some stuff somebody says, but disagree with other stuff they say.
So, I'll delete this link if anyone complains

And BTW, I like a lot of jews and jewish stuff, but since the murder of Sheik Yassin, I loathe the state of Israel.

Ok, I can see how that stuff might offend people.
But it's always interesting to see peoples points of view and try to figure out how they reason. I guess that's part of being INTP. Doesn't mean you agree with their ideas.
I certainly have nothing against jews, my grandfather fought with them in the danish resistance in WWII. The Israeli government is another story.

You know despite all the "land of the free" hype is America really the most free country in the world? I doubt that somewhat.
Something I forgot to say. Don't underestimate the enemy. I think Osama is very likely to be a very smart chap. And he does have a point. Shrugging it off as "what does he know about it" makes you vulnerable
And good God... I don't care about jews one way or the other but God I hate zionists. Hell I hate everyone that wants to build a home out of the bones and blood of others. Damn Isreali goverment and damn the Pro-Isreal lobbies.

Hmm. I think what I meant was "what right does he have to judge how free any nation is". Shrugging off a man like Bin Ladin would indeed be unwise. He may well have a point, however, I am hesitant to judge how free America is as I have never lived there. From what little reliable information I can find on the internet though, I am quite content living up here. Despite the cold.
