I am 17 and school is ending pretty quick for me:banghead: ...yet I have no Idea which cereer path to take, it seems like my intrests jump around quite alot but currently I like the following: Physics, Biology(I just loath Chemistry), Socail studies(Esspically politics, history and philisophy), I like math up to a point but once it becomes too simple I lose intrest so repeating calculations is quite boring to me. I also dislike anything which requires too much dirty work...and my drawing ability is quite ummm...basic...

Don't worry, it's very normal not to know at 17. Some people still don't know when they are 40. Just learn and do as much as you can. Do what you THINK you should do. Besides, you don't need to choose a major yet, eh?

You've still got plenty of time to decide what you'd like to do with yourself. University is generally a good place to explore your interests; experiment with different subjects until you find something that you'd like to pursue professionally.

Why not just take general studies until something grabs you?

Unless you're allergic to studying, I doubt it.

Stydu life and the rest will folllow. Drink woman buy a motorcycle car anything and gain experience outside of college etc. It will be worth it.

look at my avatar and read his bio he(Frank Costello ) never went to college and he lived a full life. College is today the biggest excuse to escape the real world. I did the same thing(going to school and college) and got my ass kicked later in life. Now i value real life experience and love myself again...so thats my view. And im only 31 yippie jaah jaay :) btw i live in the countryside so that also helps putting things into perspective. Cities are evil

you can always get rid of your general requirements first and maybe delve into other subjects of interests while you're at it. gen reqs usually involve math, english, history, and science anyway.

Ignore Edmond Zedo!

Now, GC AGE, cast your mind back to when you were 7 years of age.

What did you want to do then when you grew up?

Perhaps you should explain in detail, what you like and dislike about each subject area?

Btw, what is so loathsome about chemistry?
