If someone has a commissurotomy, do they have a single consciousness or two consciousnesses?

Without knowing the answer, I can say the argument is probably skewed in the direction of one conciousness because only the left brain is capable of the linear thinking necessary for spoken language and taking charge of "tasks" for the person to do, that is making decisions and choices, which is associated with conciousness. The right brain may not being doing those tasks, but its processes are just as powerful, in a different way. I'm pretty sure it's wise to appreciate the unspoken nature of the right brain in deciding what to ascribe as concious.
