I know it's frivilous and doesn't do much for the forum itself, but it's so much fun. I especially like competing with members from here instead of weird people from weird places on random sites on the internet.

It might be fun too to have a little subforum in the entertainment forum for arcade trash talk.

It looks like there are some great features for the arcades too that do apply to the forum. Trophies. Rating systems.

Good times.

And good for slow days like today.

I've heard rumors of arcade with a two-player mode.

Imagine two-player curveball.

The one over at N Central looks pretty good, they need more games though.

Plus, it's fun being a little competitive.

I'm not going to register at ncen just to see that, but arcade do they have? underworld has v3arcade which has a very serious problem: zoo keeper apparently isn't available for that.

You should be able to just see it.

It would be cool to have a game here which is unique to our site. A "draw" to the site.

We've talked about word games on a thread that, I think, Hustler started.

A real game or a text game?

A text game (that took into account missing people, I hope ) might be easier to implement technically than a "real game", if you're thinking what I think you are. I'm also open to things going into the "second life" area someday, as far as the "wouldn't it be nice", further down the road stuff.

Oh hell yes! I especially like the idea of an arcade trash talk forum. That is fantastic.

I don't suppose there's any way to integrate a scrabble-like or any other multiplayer word game into the forum, is there? I imagine making it multiplayer would be a lot more complicated, but they don't pay me the big bucks for my technical savvy.

I'm still waiting to beat you down in trivial pursuit.

I think someone should present this to the main forum thus allowing other possible "players" to chime in on what games and features they would want to play.

They'll never agree. It's what they do.

Let's make a list of possible options. And give them that. Not all possible options, just narrowed down options. Stuff that fc and shay won't have to spend all weekend on.

Where do we start?

List of games?

Is there like a max we should have (I want all of them). Except zoo keeper.

What features are even possible? How customizable is that thing anyway?

Doesn't look like the vbulletin arcade forum is working.

So I did a little search.

This place http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/arcade.php has a pretty good arcade with a wide array of games. I like the mix of old styel and new games.

http://www.pro-g.co.uk/forums/arcade.php And this one even has zookeeper!!!

i love games like kitten cannon...they're nice to play in between phone calls or while you're waiting for a report to run. plus, it's easy to hide them when the boss comes around.

The arcade is open. More games will be added tomorrow.
