UTD campus. Right on the border between Richardson, Dallas, and Plano.

I guess this means I'll be supplying the mind altering substances?

When would this hypothetical gathering take place? Someone should probably confirm various planetary alignments first, so that we may properly procrastinate reaching any result whatsoever.

I might even roadtrip out. One of my best buds from HS just moved out there and I could make a case for seeing him. My parents are, I think, wanting me to go somewhere with them about that time. So the question is: is that my excuse to save money and not go to the meet, or is the meet my excuse to save sanity and not go on the trip? ;)

Mmmmm. I'll try to watch for more details. ;)

Got a rehearsal for a show this Sat night... We're resurrecting our acoustic Pink Floyd thingy for an evening.

Don't know why we need to rehearse. Those songs should be part of my DNA by now. But you know how those INTJ partners can be.

Lemme know if you need a cellist -- I've missed playing. ;)

Didn't you post a picture of you and your mom around here somewhere?

If I remember correctly, she's pretty hot.

Yeah, everyone thinks my mom (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1103/attila_the_hunny/family/IMG_0018.jpg) is hot, but I was actually talking about NightHawk's wife...who is also hot.

Pleasure to meet you all. And thanks for the education. I learned a lot last night…

1. When you tell the hostess that you’re with the Nighthawk party, you either get a knowing wink or a blank stare depending on the hostess.
2. The Macaroni Grill has some really cool colored glass on a high shelf for decoration. According to the waiter, these are yours for the taking provided you can pull off a stealthy ninja move, scaling the bookcase and slipping out unnoticed.
3. The manager of the Macaroni Grill gets irritable when asked to pour beverages.
4. It takes more than what we imbibed at the Grill (See # 3) to create a successful distraction. Without a distraction, Raincrow did not get a chance to accomplish # 2.
5. Someone on the board could be Meshou’s twin, but I’m not saying who. And they are from the same part of the country. Coincidence? I think not.
6. Hooters has a passport. But they will let you in without one.
7. Shiner Bock is pronounced Shiner Beck if you’re from Boston. Criminal. Truly.
8. Fosters does not taste like Shiner no matter what the waitress says.
9. Everything stops in the bar for a fight; this I already knew. What I learned last night was this phenomenon happens even if the fight is in the parking lot.
10. I’m old enough to be somebody’s mother. This is a fact I will promptly forget.

Thanks to Cryo for suggesting the meet and to Nighthawk for getting us organized!

It was definitely a good time. I slept in until noon today. Started out at Macaroni Grill and ended up at Hooters across the highway. Started out a bit quiet, as introverts will be, but quickly ramped up with the alcohol consumption. Everybody was most charming and interesting ... and kind enough not to make fun of my Tourettes ;) I think we wrapped things up around 1am or so?

The bar fight in the Hooters parking lot was pretty cool. My SJ wife disappeared for about 20 mintues after the fight, only to find out she was tending to the wounds of the guy who came out on the losing end. She's a nurse practitioner.

I cannot believe everybody forgot to bring their cameras ;)
