i dont know if it counts as i met him a few months ago and made him join here. but i had only seen him twice for only a few hours in total.
but i spent last wednesday night with him and it was beautiful. i love him but not in an obsessive stalkery kind of way. just like a really pretty love that i feel with my heart.

I have actually considered moving to Argentina, but I don't know how to do that. Apparently the easiest way is to either marry someone from there or invest something like $60k. It's so hard to move to another country, ughr. And there are risks too, like Argentina has a history of populist dictatorships, something I don't want to get caught up in.

Revisiting the meet-up, some details that we agreed could be shared
we drank all night, scored some drugs in Time Sq and all hopped in bed together (but really it was innocent, nothing happened!)
I expressed doubt that anyone would buy the last part, but it is true. We even lost the damn weed we were so trashed! FWIW there are pics too, but I lost the damn SD card............:(

Dom and geniusndisguise:
http://www.intpcentral.com/uploads/domandgen.JPG
Dom is very friendly and easy to get along with, but what do you expect from an ENFP? gen is more reserved, which is natural being the introvert of the pair. Went to an English pub to give Dom a taste of home and consumed a fair amount of alcohol. Much discussion about the the history of the U.S. I suggested that the English do away with the royal family as head of state, and instead have a contest each year like Pop Idol/American Idol - like Miss America!
See, these are the brilliant ideas we colonials come up with! Think of the voter turnout!

That's actually the first thing I taught Ms. Platonic how to make. She's still a terrible cook, but at least she's no longer burning water. Mmm, I think I'm going to make that this weekend. There might be pictures eventually if I can find my camera.

Wales definately, at least you lot try to speak our language, and don't pretend to talk Welsh whenever an Englishmen gets within spitting distance.
Hay (It's Hay-on-Wye not Ross, I made a mistake in my first post) is pretty English though (near the border, and English speaking). Part of it is in England as it straddles the border, but my favourite of it's more than 30 antiquarian bookshops is in the Welsh half. It is the former cinema and has over 200,000 antique books.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/mid/sites/hay/
Technicaly it is an independent nation as some looney eccentric Englishman that did not like being in Wales declared himself the King of Ross-On-Wye a few years ago. His horse is prime minister and is probably doing a better job than Gordon Brown is in my country.

Hay is fab, it has two castles and a shed load of old books. It has a lierary festival every year now too, which is well worth going to.
Sedbergh in the Yorkshire Dales is trying to be the 'English Hay' (even though Hay is English in reality) which is good news for me as it's only about 45 minutes drive from me.

So does Moe's, though not all 200,000 are antiquarian (there's an antiquarian shop on the 4th floor).

Yes, Andantino and I met up (both in TN) and I have to say the dynamic between ENTJ/INTP is pretty amazing. I could go on and on, but communication has to be the strongest point. Maybe it's just us as unique individuals, but I've never yet experienced this sort of similar wavelength with anyone else prior. Both of us have really similar values and worldviews, so that did help a lot. But even if they were different, I feel our ability to communicate would allow each to appreciate where the other was coming from.
I have to vouch for them... ENTJs are not simply "bossy". Immature ones, maybe.. but immature INTPs can be jackasses.
I think the key to a solid INTP-ENTJ connection is being open about everything, even if it hurts sometimes. It really helps if you like/respect the other person. ;)

I don't know about the fate of the others attending the MBTIc meet-up, but he did hug everyone but me at the first meet-up, and there was no hugging at this one either. However, it's ok, this is one of those things that I'm quite comfortable being left out of.

We'll purchase the liquor beforehand, and mix them up and share before we explain why you shouldn't drink so much. This is a traditional INTPc intervention, of course.

I'm not from a neighboring territory, I'm originally from one that was three territories away. I used to live in one that was two away. But in my experience, most of the colleges are somewhere vaguely near the fabled Land of Cleves. There's at least one in Youngstown, which isn't *too* far away.

I'm sure it's just a statistical anomaly, but probably 3 out of 4 of Indian people I've met (and actually discussed this with) are from Andhra Pradesh, and either know or kind-of know Telugu. Maybe there's some kind of Hyderabad-oftware-engineering connection...

Heh, yeah, the "head bobble", I don't really do that, although maybe I do in India. Everyone is puzzled by it.
A lot of people in Andhra are engineers. It's sort of a status-thing here, it's insane, like half of all Indians who go to good engineering schools are Andhra. Software's one of the best engineering options, because of the money, so a lot of people do that. And of course, Telugu is the native language of AP, so yeah.

One of my favorite things about meeting people through this place is that you can ask them their real name every single time you meet them, and it's okay, because they don't remember yours either.
Some of them are very bad drivers and have no concept of how parking brakes work, and it is hilarious.

This afternoon my husband and I had lunch with the charming Works. Strangely, a photographer was absent. I'm sure you can use your imagination though. **Insert group picture here.**

Indeed. It was a fun time all around and she even paid for my food. How nice is she? I went to a wedding the night before so I was still hungover when we met; however, it was the type of hungover where you are voraciously hungry. I ate and ate and ate. We chatted and I probably lost even more I cred. Oh well.

Noel is one mellow dude. Obviously I haven't actually met you, but somehow I'm not surprised that you get along well with one of the random peeps I met in Vegas.
