So, our town's (Cherry Hill, NJ) mayor has been a bit of an idiot since being elected. He spent his whole first winter in Florida, not very steathily either. In addition to that, he's getting the township sued over a building contract (which is a really good display of human stupidity, but I won't go into it). Once I found out about all this, my mother and I concluded that he needed to go. Naturally, I wanted in on the action, so I started talking to my father about it. He shows a lot of INTP traits, despite seeming extraverted. He gave me some advice about things I did (inhaled) in the past catching up with me, but since I don't want to teach anymore, that's no longer a bother. The guy needs to go, even if I'm just a spoiler (which is unlikely, this town is so ridiculously Democrat... on the bright side, they're really starting to hate him) for a Republican.
Today, I resolved to find out what is needed to get on the ballot (I've been mapping out the campaigning since last night, when the idea popped back into my head). I went down to the Municipal building and asked one of the ladies in the Registration area.
Since I'm independent (I don't believe political parties are constructive), I only need 50 signatures to get on the ballot. Even though I still need to collect those, I'm already mapping out subsequent steps. I hope I don't get bored of this, this would be such a fun game. Yes, I know I won't win.
