I hate intros but I made a post on the women's board so it's rude not to say hi first.
Did the test due to a friend directing me there, found this link at the bottom of the page.
Don't actuall have any idea what to say but if you want to ask I'll answer (maybe).
Otherwise;
Hail and well met good fellows :)

Welcome to the board :). Hm, what was your first impression of the INTP profile?

My first impression was kinda sceptical when I read the summary but when i went to the detail it was spookily true, I've just had interim appraisal at work and certain observations are in both. A lot in it I've thought about before but never actually admitted to them, I definitely have the ulgy ducking complex :)
I kind of look at it as food for thought for my next therapy session though :O

Welcome Danyal,
I am also rather new to this forum, but it seems like a friendly place :)
Enjoy the forum

There's an irony of INTPs being into 'typing' in the MBTI sense. On one hand, it's an interesting tool for trying to understand one's self and others. On the other hand, it's a way to limit understanding if you aren't careful to remember that an endless amount of variation exists even within a given type. INTPs tend to be more open minded (as I have observed it) than most people, but also ironically, seem to appreciate finding out that we're not alone.

Yep true, I was relieved to find out I'm not actually mad, or at least not alone with my seemingly weird outlook. However I remain unconvinced anyone fits into a pidgeon hole.

We're all mad here...
*rubs hands together and cackles*
Nah, only most of us. The ones that aren't hide it well.

Welcome to the forums.
I too was considering the possibility of me having some personality/mental disorder. Before learning about MBTI and the personality types I had not ever communicated with someone on the same wavelength as me. Upon reading the description of an INTP and then meeting the ppl in this forum it was like someone extracted an essence of my mind and projected into the world.
<_< Or... perhaps you all are just some figment of my imagination, a construct of my mind created to keep me from going crazy. <_<

I didn't really see a need to create an entire new thread for a greeting, so I just added myself to this thread. That said, here I am.
