A test to determine your confidence's level...

I took a test once that said I "think much to much of myself".

There's a rush when mastering one's social inhibitions. Destroy the fear by doing and learning. Those kindergarten teachers weren't wrong when they said you can do ANYTHING you put your mind too.

The only thing about me that I can't change is my past.

Your Confidence Score is: 47

This is a good place to be because you've found your own confidence energy pack and you know how to tap into it. Just remember no to let up on yourself - it's easy to be lazy and slip back into the habit of thinking 'I probably can't do that.'

You're an ideal person to coach a mate who seems to be less confident. You could really boost them up and encourage them to rev up their own confidence levels.

You're kind of kidding yourself here because you hope that if you ever really have to be confident, it will come to you by magic. Perhaps you're thinking too far ahead - maybe you think that in the future, when you're older, your confidence levels will go through the roof and you'll be able to handle the things we listed with no problems at all.
Unfortunately, it rarely happens that way. Try to remember the confidence is just a muscle that you have to pump up - if you leave it there unused it just wastes away
But it's not all bad news. Just believing you can be confident if you need to is an excellent starting point. So why wait?

I got a 37. I am surprised, because I truly thought that I had confidence. It said that I am either confident of some things and not others, or I was faking it. Yep, that's me I can fake it while quaking in my sneakers.......Now how's that for multi-tasking?

I'm a lot more confident than I used to be, though.

I got a 44. But some of the questions are misleading (or maybe misworded to be more precise). However, it really depends on what they wanted to know or how they use the answers.

For example, a good number of the questions say what "I CAN" do. But that doesn't mean I would do it. I imagine I could if I had to.

Other questions state what I can basically "MAKE" others do, like I can make people hire me or I can make people direct me to the right person for a job. These questions leave out the fact that the other person doesn't HAVE to do anything for you.

With that said, if you know the extension of the person doing the hiring in the department, enter it now.

Confidence is all about knowing you could do something if you have to. That's why 2 people who are doing the exact same thing can seem to have vastly different levels of confidence. To others, confidence is best shown in how you do things. To yourself, it is shown in what you choose to do.

Whenever i do this i find my mood and confidence rapidly improve

edit:: i agree its not a very useful or accurate test.

"confidence" is such a gray area and to test it using different situations and by assigning numbers 1-5 to how you feel about doing it is not very accurate imo.

plus a lot of the questoins dealt with extroverted things which indicates a heavy bias towards believing that "extroversion" equates to "confidence", something a lot of people in society believe.

ask questions about how comfortable people are doing something highly theoretical or abstract that INTP's excel at and i bet most people wouldn't feel confident about it at all.

Everyone's good at different things and confidence comes from knowledge and experience. Just because you don't know how to do something and thus lack confidence to do is no indication of how "confident" of a person you are.

i could go on and on about this, especially since i am at work.

45. I'm capable of doing all these things, I just don't like to, but I'll do them if I have to. Which is why I liked how the questions said can or could, instead of do. Just because you're introverted doesn't mean you can't be confident.

But everyone knows computer games are a constructive use of time, a great learning experience, and that they build character.

I got a 40.

I dislike how it construes confidence in a couple of them.

(i.e. Extrovertedness = confidence)
