Hi,
My name's ape_ape_ape ... because apparently I look like a big dum Ape (according to my friends), I'm 191cm/95kg - I got the name in highschool and it's pretty much stuck (I'm 24 now).
I just found out I was INTP the other day ...
My sister went to a psycic who said a few things about me which were pretty interesting and that got me interested in finding out how easy it was to characterise people and all that stuff ... so I ended up taking an MBTI test and I came out as an INTP. When I read some of the descriptions on the web I was pretty amazed so many of my personality traits/quirks were described ...
- starting projects and never finishing them
- the messy desk/room etc.
- missed apointments
- mirroring the response of others in social situations
... and so many more
Even the job was right - I was working as an electrical/electronics engineer (until I resigned a few days ago. 18 months work after 5 years uni ... I'm not sure what I'll do next) and I'd done Architecture for work experience at school.
anyway I just wanted to say hi cause I felt kinnda wierd reading everyone's posts without saying something about myself ... so ...
hi guys :)

What part of sydney are you from? (I was born in sydney, just south of canterbury :) )
Our rooms aren't messy, items are efficiently thrown across around it for easy access :D

cool ... I'm from Pymble.
Yeah I agree with the efficient access thing - the most recently used items are always at the top. The top 10% of the stuff is the stuff you use 90% of the time so it works pretty well most of the time (until you have to find something at the bottom). :D

Welcome to the board, I already saw you in IRC this morning I believe.
Electrical Engineering? When I go to uni I intend to have a major in that along with some other stuff.
In any event, welcome, enjoy the forums and IRC, and no, the forums don't always look this bad, and will be better ;) (or so I'm told).

I'm currently at Sydney Uni doing Honours in Biology. Working on bees... not the real kind but the virtual kind i.e. I am trying to create a simulation of bee foraging behaviour using Simulink. The hons started in July this year so I took 6 months off at the beginning of the year doing what an INTP loves to do best... NOTHING (well, working 1 day a week at a very easy job).
Hand in my thesis at the end of next April, so hopefully at the end I'll have BSc(Bioinformatics)(Hons) on my grad certificate....

I'm tellin' ya. She's one of them ESFJs, here to tear out our organs and rape our souls. We shouldn't've told all them stories about the evil of the SJ.
I now understand that Imperator055 was trying to placate them, stave them off before vengeful spirits such as this came upon us.

Clearly, his foresight and failed attempts at seduction weren't enough to stop this one from slipping in and catching us unawares.
