I thought MyDog's post (http://forums.intpcentral.com/showpost.php?p=372621&postcount=28) in the "INTP Only Forum" thread was interesting, and it led me to be curious about what the goals or general aspirations were for the site as a whole. Particularly on the part of the mods and admins, because they have most influence on its character and how it evolves. Not that you guys have to answer to anyone, and I presume you talk about this stuff between yourselves, but I was just curious. It's not at all clear to me, is it clearer to you?
Also I guess I wonder if this LeComite thing is seen as a joke and whether I should bother even posting in it. That's not antagonistic, just wondering aloud.

Actually, there really isn't an organized goal of such that I am aware of at present. However, to grow the site larger, and keep it from falling into chaos, would be my personal goal.

There are about as many goals as there are active members, since everyone comes here for different reasons.
The concept of goals sounds far to Jish for my tastes anyway.
My goal is to battle boredom. My only goal in life, actually.

Personally I don't have any goals or aspirations except that order be maintained. Generally I think it is a place that evolves as to the input of the whole membership without being guided to anywhere in particular.

No, it provides a place where the more prominent chosen can suggest things without having inane posts interspersed. It helps with feedback.

Since I'm a mod and only two other's have answered.
I'd like to see this place be huge. I'd like better member retention and for it to be as appealing as possible to the most number of people, both new and old while still maintaining it's raison d'etre.
I know that's not so specific, I just think there are a large number of ways to do that.
I feel like doing that will enable to forum to exist for a very long time which is main main goal.
I'd suggest 'getting Intuitive Central or something similar back online' as a short term goal.

Hallelujah !
Which makes me think; why not have a redirect so all the N'ites end up in the Underworld ? Looking rather confused.

I can't decide if that'd be more mean for the N'ites or the underworlders. Either way, I'm for it.

It doesn't have to be a big honking deal to create goals. It can be a quick exercise. But it is useful to go back to square 1 occasionally and ask, "Why am I doing this?"
