However, INTPs are not supposed to be socially inclined; yet, they frequent this forum and interact in a social manner on a regular basis - in most cases.

My reasoning: INTPs want to communicate and be social, just like any other type. The problem is, that people want to interact with similar minds, but for INTPs, that it not easily done. Therefore, when you find other like-minded individuals, like here for instance, you become a more social INTP. Hence, the next step would be interact with a more personal vehicle such as a phone conversation.

I think the lack of practice is the issue, rather than some inherent flaw.

Although, I could be full of crap (sorry Hustler).

I'm curious about the "how are we going to hear each other" aspect. I've nattered at enough people here to know we're actually quite interesting on the phone.

Interesting theory, I shall come back to this another time. I think it just requires a bit more finetuning.

Not to avoid the question but you may want to consider only having 5 people on a skype at one time... if you have multiple people wanting to skype in have a few groups and move people around in them.

A big group of people, say 7 or 9 will be very chaotic to control. Have 3 groups of 3 or something like that instead OR WHATEVER

I think that is the plan. Despite what has been stated in this thread, five people showing up will be unlikely. If I am wrong, then I will just create another group. However, creating a big group for people to just listen - phone lurking, I suppose - would be cool for the future.
