Thanks F/C. Thats great fun. Yet another fine form of procrastination delivered through the convenience a desktop computer. I even got to be champion of Moon Lander (although that'll last for about 10 mins once everyone else finds out about these games).

earlier in the thread I described why:

you will need to use the style other then "newstyle" (it needs to be consolidated into the main template branch.. so.. until I do that, use one of the other styles/templates)

consolidating the style is a little tedious so I haven't gotten around to it.

So, I had this nightmare last night someone beat my pac man score. It was like me waking up and going on INTP central and like someone had 150k and someone else had 125k. And I started freaking out. And the worst part was songbird had the high score.....(ok that last part is made up but the rest is true)

This was my second try, I wasnt really concentrating. I kinda gave up at 70k to register the score (I still had 5+ lives)

How many lines did you manage with that 300K+ score? I think my high score was w/238 lines or so at 215K.

cjs55, I cannot even imagine getting to your Tetris score, both for difficulty and for the time expended. Could you see the blocks moving, or were they just a blur?

Oh, its not too tough when you've played tetris as much as I have (all I did while in class in high school was play tetris on my calculator). Its pretty much just zen, until you fuck up and have to fix it. I could get quite a bit higher...maybe that'll be the goal for tonight.

I believe you. I was a slow Minesweeper player and I couldn't believe the times posted by this one coworker until I watched him play. He used a style totally unlike mine. I learned tricks like the double-mouse-button-click which I either didn't know existed in the user interface or hadn't occurred to me. Anyway, I was a much faster player after that.

Heh, the best minesweeper player I ever saw was an ISTJ friend of mine. He also bettered my tetris score in high school...my 39k to his 41k. I never could beat that damn score...

And yeah, 270 lines, its really not too fast yet either...

It would be great to be able to observe games between members and discuss tactics. I suck at it and want to learn. Even though I only consider myself a pseudo-intellectual, I should at least be good at chess.

How do you add a comment to a score? I've looked all over for a way to do it, and can't figure it out.

It's down the bottom of the high score page, but only when you first place on the high score list. You have to beat that score before being allowed to post another comment.
