Wow, I like the clock and weather access, looks good. Ok, I've downloaded the desktop sidebar. Tried to add the Windows Media 9, but the latest I can add is 7.1 version with windows 98, so can't get that option, but I like the clock, news & weather, very cool.

Everything.

is the 1,2,3,4 for virtual desktops?

Yes, from Microsoft Power Toys (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx).

Gaargh. Time for my new monthly tech support beg.

Installed it.
Rebooted.
Tried a few themes.
Then the taskbar changed back to windows classic from one of the themes.
Tried to change it back to the cool taskbar.
Didn't work.
Rebooted.
It all switched back to how it was before I installed.
Should I install again, or am I missing something?

Okay, a little more info... the themes are gone, but other little changes (the windows logo) are still changed. I wanted it for the themes... grr...

Probably just going to un/reinstall, see if that works. Not tonight, though.

Jim, if you don't have StyleXP or something similar, you can download the UXTheme Patch (http://addict3d.org/index.php?page=downloadfile&ID=1358). It replaces the default Windows XP file (uxtheme.dll) and allows you to install new visual styles and themes. If you have any more troubles you could look around on the neowin forum for help.

Funky link... the page comes up but there's nothing to download.

I'll try the other forum... if I can find it.
