These books look good, has anyone read them yet and what are your experiences?
Can "Please Understand Me II" be applied to detecting other personality types? or is it more of an introspective book?

PUM2 is very good. It did help me learn to spot other types too. It is easier to read than Personality Type: An Owners Manual too.

Unfortuanately, I have to disagree with Div. I thought Keirsey's PUM II muddled things by taking on the four dichotomies of MBTI, instead of using his own names. His description of INTP does not fit me one bit. I do like his distinctions of temperment. Thompson's book is harder to read, however, does not give the sterotypical descriptions of types, that some books do.
As for Speedreading, I have all of Paul and Barbara Tiegers books for reference. Speeding reading is a good book.
