Did u ever feel while posting on this forum that u might not get enough replies for your thread?

Did that feeling sometimes let you discard a thread starter which u planned to post ?

Well, for me i dont care much, but wouldnt say that this feeling doesnt exist.

However since INTPs are curious and the only self referencing guys/gurlz (ah yes i am cautious :) ) in the MBTI
Would love to know about what u expect before you post some thread. Does that affect ur posting ?

hm. I already left the thread when I started feeling bad leaving you without any answer after that sort of posting... ;)

so... I still don't have anything productive to say...I never felt this way about having to reach a certain amount of replies...

but sometimes I won't post an already written reply just because I feel I have nothing to say or couldn't express what I wanted to say...

Well me too.
Is that certain amount of replies ?
Well i dont care either.
But at least i dont give any topic i myself consider odd (no way to know what others may think beforehand).

Eh, sort of. Not so much about not getting enough replies.. I suppose when starting a thread I hope that people will find it interesting enough to reply. If not then whatever *Shrugs* :).

I suppose indifference is worse than dislike.

;)

I've noticed that INTPs don't always feel compelled to respond to things to which other types would have to respond.

>:/ YeahYeah, I read that thread too and wanted to post something nice about someone, but the problem was I don't really know the people here too well. Maybe some of the original members could write some nice stuff but for a person like myself who has only been here a couple of months, it's not so easy :p .

Or you could be like me and praise, even though I forgot why I was praising. (It's almost an exercise in strengthening the E/F I think)... but that kinda only applies to that thread. For most others, it's pretty useless and even annoying if people don't read before they respond.

@ eternalcynic
did you draw that eye with the spiral-pupil??
I just had this discussion with a friend of mine who told me that you could divide people into intro- and extroverted just by letting them draw a spiral...
(clockwise meaning extroverted, counterclockwise introverted)
mine was counterclockwise, hers being a MBTI-tested extrovert clockwise.

since then I've been tempted to let everyone draw spirals... ;)

Nah, it's from one of my favorite movies :). Hedwig and the Angry Inch.. a scene during a song called "The Origin of Love"

I've never heard that about spirals before.. you can bet I'll be testing it on people now, lol
