hey folks...i've been in and out of this forum for quite a long time...but always felt awkward ab't introducing myself....of late i've become obsessed with personality typing and jungian philosophy so much so that it has started affecting my school work...btw I'm doin MS in Electrical Engineering @ Pennsylvania State University....as far as my interests are concerned they're too many....right from psychoanalysis of serial killers to philosophy of death,meterology and ofcourse anarchism.....havin a tough time time dealin with the world and have struggled all through my life not be a misfit...but I've always wondered why I'm so different and have sought a biological explanation for that...but after identifying myself as an INTP i've started to appreciate myself more and ....have become more of a recluse....btw I guess I'm the only one from India in this forum....well..that's it for in intro....

I also found myself becoming more a recluse after find about being an INTP - like I didn't need to make an excuse for being happy to be alone.

Welcome, and you are not the only one from India here. You will have to search but I know there is at least one other if not two. (my memory sucks and I am too lazy to look it up)

well...it's been my favourite past time...reading about the whole exercise of weather prediction...watching weather channel endlessly...infact I'm capable of spending an entire day infront of the computer just looking at the weather statistics of different places on earth...i derive a wild satisfaction when I see some place that has got climatic extremes...can't explain why it feels like this..and haven't met anyone who shares this....

I can relate to having too many interests, I don't know whether it is the concept of learning something new or gaining knowledge in general but I want to know everything! There are so many fascinating things in this universe/reality! I hope I am still alive when we can finally download information straight into our heads, Matrix style!

There's a - Canadian - journalist who wrote in a newspaper column a few years ago that talking so much about all the facets of weather is one of the changes he's noticed, since he moved here (years ago) from India.

And come to think of it, I knew an engineering student - from Pennsylvania, here for school - who noticed and talked about the weather more than we do.

So, maybe strange, but not too strange :) Glad to meet you.
