More time was spent in the process of thinking about writing than the actual task.
Anyways, I'm Boo. I'm 23 and I live in Canada. I took the Myers-Brigg test from a friend who was trained to give out such tests. When I heard about the results, my immediate reaction was: Huh. This was followed by a devouring of all possible information. This website's description was so fitting it made me feel less like a social deviant and has given me a reasonable weapon against the other 99 percentile.
We're only 1 percent. Does anyone else find that odd? Granted I was usually considered the weird one, but hell, 1 percent-y weird? Why are we so rare? Are we special or are we in the process of fading away? Anyone?
I'm glad I found a place where I can write about how interactions with people can be the same as pepper spray in my face without hearing how unhealthy that is for someone my age. Or any age for that matter. Etc. See you around.

Yeah, it's not you. It's all of them.

Welcome.

Rare does not equal weird, that's only what Guardians think. We're just special.

And welcome! :hello:

You know, in my neck of the woods, calling someone 'special' implies that they're retarded.
And anyway, I know I'm weird. NP personalities probably generally are.

Maybe we aren't in the process of fading away, maybe we are in the process of awakening!

Different is the best sounding euphamism, I think.

Oh, and welcome to the forums.

Welcome, Boo!

Yes, we're ALL special :D And "special," too, at times - as cloakable so delicately suggested.

Arriving with presents! wow Thanks for those great food-for-thought questions.

I'm in Canada, too - in Quebec. At this moment munching on thoughts of what makes for "distinct" culture... nutty, and not too sweet... thank you!

:hello:

Hi

Welcome to the Forum. Personally, I prefer the term "weird" because it makes us sound unsavory, and people that we don't want to interact with anyway will stay away from us.

Secondly, 1% might not be as rare as you think, cause if every type was equal, each one would be 6.25% of the population. How about 1% equals to be about 60 Million of us, out of 6 billion.

I hope all 60 million of us feel "special".

Oh, and avoiding interaction with other people is unhealthy at your age, or any age for that matter. But so is smoking, getting drunk, speeding, fast food, and numerous other things I do everyday. We are all gonna die someday, at least be happy when you die.

Hmm... now it'll be harder to call booyalab 'boo' to annoy her... oh well, we'll survive.

Thanks for the welcome. Had I realized there was another Boo of sorts, I'd have changed the name. I'm female too, by the way. To make things even more confusing, I suppose.
Anyway, yeah. Nice to meet you all.

Actually, I think it is more like 2-3%. What area of Canada? It's a big country you know.

And 'hi' BTW.

No chatroom? That's a shame.
