Your Ideal Meet-up?

Describe your ideal INTP Central meet-up.

Where would it be? Can you envision a specific time and place for the meeting? Would it occur at a place you know in the present or near-future, or would it be elsewhere--some event in past or future history, some fictional place of yours or somebody else's imaginings?

Who would have to be there? Who would watch from afar?

Excluding the people I have met 'cause I've already met them:

Kuranes, Hustler Madrigal, Mgbradish, Lee and Helios. I can't imagine that not turning out very interesting.

Three distinct possibilities come to mind:

Scenario 1: Someone comes to visit me and we spend hours playing Scrabble and/or old N64 games. Maybe we also go out and do stuff, or maybe we don't.

Scenario 2: I go to the Asheboro Zoo in North Carolina and watch people from INTPc without them knowing.

Scenario 3: We have a group meetup in some remote field or open, hilly area at night. Maybe there is a campfire. We all socialize in an introverted fashion. Maybe kuranes shares stories about the old days.

How about we find a warehouse in DC. Get some DJs that aren't going to act like their celebrities. DJ's who just play music. Get that guys band to play also. Buy a various assortment of goodies. Perhaps, send off for some big ass legos so we can play w/ them while we listen to the music and what not. We could throw the heat on high and make it a bathing suit party by setting off smoke detectors and having the sprinklers spray us. We could also get one of those machines that create mist and maybe eve a joker that would fly around up top on beams and juggle.

Who is going to be the joker? And how about some acrobats who can take lines off of each other while a spotlight pulsates onthem.

I would meet two or three people at Starbuck's for a coffee. I haven't decided which three yet. I guess it would be hard to get any small group together since people are scattered all over the country.

It would be in Moscow, at noon, sometime in the near future. Hopefully right before the 2008 Presidential elections. Madrigal and demagogic_schizoid would be there, in a cage in the middle of Red Square, with the Kremlin clearly visible, and not allowed to come out until they both agreed on a political ideology. I would be watching from afar and proceed to :popcorn: and throw peanuts, when I deemed it hilarious.

We'd have to meet with Eileen and we'd squish at things.

Everyone from INTPc would receive plane tickets to attend the party. The party would take place in a huge ballroom of a fancy hotel where each person would have a prepaid room. The party would be very much like prom or some giant/formal college party. Everyone would be required to dress up.

The ballroom would be decorated much in the same way it would as if we were going to prom. There would be streamers, balloons, white table cloths, gourmet hors' derves, and an open/free bar. There would also be a slushie machine much like the ones they have at Fat Tuesday's. There would be strobe lights and a great DJ everyone agrees on. Giant name cards would be on each table.

Each person would be required to get the signature of every other member to ensure that he/she has met everyone. He/she would also be able to dance with that person at that time. At the end, awards would be distributed for best dancers, most valuable poster, silliest online, etc..

No one would be allowed to hide out in the bathroom. Drugs and smoking would be permitted.

There must be pitchers of beer. Or kegs. Or something...no pitchers of beer in Chicago. Probably the low-point of the trip, other than losing a favorite pen.

And lots of lounging equipment. Recliners or ottoman/sofa arrangements--must be rearrangable. Remaining vertical is for the birds.

Accomodations for the nonsmoker/smoker preference and a place to retreat from loud music. (Sorry folks, I have problems with loud music.)
