ohh right i tried to find a good forum but just got lazy and picked this one...
the job is at uspto (united states patent and trademark office) they are hiring 1000 engineers a year for 5 years to keep up with the technology boom. they called me today and i think i have a good chance.
There was a meetup here in DC on January 1st.
January 1st was a bad time to schedule a meetup, and nobody has brought up the idea since.

Eyebyte seems to be MIA, and I'm much too apathetic to organize anything. It was all I could do in January just to show up and greet my fans.

Right. Besides that, you're lazier than I am, which is why I didn't volunteer you. ;)

Job sounds kick ass. Get the job and do all is necessary to move up. Next, give me a job. Everybody wins.

We're not sure where to go for a vacation, but he does want to go back to DC.
The last meet-up, I came the very next day, totally bypassing you fuckers. Haha.

i think there are a lot of INTPs that work for the government, to be honest, at least a higher percentage than is in the general population. I work with at least three INTP women that I know of, and there are a number of men I suspect are INTPs also.
and let's call a spade a spade here--the last meet-up was in VIRGINIA. Yuck.

Far better than Maryland.
Worthless state.

Our side of the beltway is MUCH better maintained.

This is true. I lived in Maryland for a few weeks before I moved into DC proper. I was surprised at how nice the roads generally were.

Yes yes it's a district, but it still sucks. Which is my POINT.

Our gas is at LEAST $.25 more. Why? Because it is BETTER. I rest my case.
Oh, and Bertuccis? Used to be in Tysons, now relocated to Rockville. Why, I ask, why? We are better customers, of course.

Divisive and cliquish.

They'll probably talk about you behind your back if you don't attend, too. I don't trust anyone on that list.

I don't doubt it. eyebyte seemed happiest when he was gossiping at the last DC meetup. He likely carries that spirit with him wherever he goes.

Nah, it's not the spirit he carries, but the flask. The dude never shuts his trap when he drinks.
