Hello everyone, I'm new here. I'm 24 years old and just randomly found this site by lucks. ^^ And for my background... :whistle:...

Warning, long randomness rambling ahead::shock:

Many months ago, I did the Jung Typology test out of boredom and I got INTJ. I like it, it fitted me for many points, except that I hate maths and I'm not good at Science. ^^; But I have read from the site I have linked to that the result may depens on my mood. So I leaves the site and test the result again a few months later, and I got...ISTP. The test is different, so I stopped and takes the test "again" later. The result is INTJ. ^o^ I have done the test a few time later until 'm pretty confidence now that I'm INTJ...until.....

I have read on people's definition about INTJ, and I got doubt. Am I that capable? I am not that confident either. My friends dislike me? They act neutral, or they just pretending? ^_^; From the web, I found that there are many people who is actually INTP but get the INTJ result from the online test. So I read on INTP, and the description fit me in many way again. But I almost never late or missed the appoinrment. O.O?

So now I confused, a lot. Both INTJ and INTP characteristic fitted me a lot, but I never get INTP. SOO.... I take the test again to confirm myself about who am I exactly, and then I got.....ISTJ?????? Then I read the description, and it fitted me again!!!!

I have redone the test many time (this time, I done it many time in a roll), up until I realize I got ISTJ because I undecided on the "always looking for the opportunity." , I changed my mind to click "no" because I never looking for the opportunity. And when I see the opportunity, most of the time I passed it because I think I have no chance to get it. (INTJ trait). I am also wonder, "Am I always looking for the opportunity....or I'm not? (INTP?) But the ISTJ character trait fitted me too? I don't think I used to be INTJ with my friend though, or I already did, but I don't know? (INTP)

To sum up I really confused now about Who am I exactly? Am I make any sense? :blush: Hopefully I didn't say something embarrasing here. :shock:

Thank you for reading mine. ^^;;;

Hello IDKP,

There are several people here who are not INTP :) and some who think they might, or might not be... :)

I think it's only one part of understanding yourself - and less important than how you use whatever strengths you have. :hello:

It seems English might be a second language, for you - always interesting for me because I've met some who don't want to practice using a language they're still learning... I was wondering what other language - s you use?

It's not always easy to know. I think there are several people here who are borderline INTJ's.
If you are unsure whether you are ISTJ or INTJ, try reading about the different temperaments on www.keirsey.com. There is quite a difference between NT (rational) temperaments and SJ (guardian) temperaments, so you might find there which one you identify most with.

Oh, and welcome! :hello:

Wow. I have never seen an INTP-ish INTJ. Being an INTJ-ish INTP myself, as well as some more people in here, I was always curious about what it is like to be on the other side of the P/J dilemma :D

Welcome here. Where are you from?

It could be the test you are talking. It sounds like you were taking one that has Yes/No responses. Look for one that allows you to agree/disagree on a sliding scale. I find such tests give more accurate results. That way when you are undecided on the "always looking for the opportunity" you simply click in the middle.
