OK, I wasn't sure if this thread belonged here or in entertainment, but I think this area is probably a good fit.

I was chatting with some other INTPs about disappointment at the ending of The Da Vinci Code. I'm sure we've all seen some movies or read some books where somewhere the author went terribly wrong, we (as the ever thinking INTP) spotted it, and left the book or movie most disappointed.

So, which one is your "it would have been better"? What should the writer have done?

I'll start.

I was very disappointed with the ending of Jurassic Park. It would have been better if they had taken that disease they found in the lab and said, "Hey look, we've discovered what killed the dinosaurs.

Disappointed with Matrix. It should have ended right before Neo started flying into my face.

I was disappointed with the Star Wars prequels. They should have never been made. But I'll see the third anyway...

I am disappointed with most movies these days.

Everything would be better if they had better writers/producers etc. and stopped trying to attach to the capitalistic view of most of this world's population.

But since that isn't going to happen, thank gods for independent film.
