leftover forum maintenance from the server move

things I still haven't done since we went from phpbb->vbulletin

have to be taken from phpbb and imported:
- import avatars if they haven't already been set.
- import gender
- import custom titles(from namings)

modify vbulletin itself:
- put image upload link somewhere
- bring back any smilies that didn't get imported properly.. (problems with phear smilie)
- enable birthdays or something on the calendar? whatever that means...
- We're invisible by default
- ability to specify gender

someone suggested that there be a link to IRC similar to how it is here:
