Now thats why Kerry needs a new job, Head of the Department of Veterans Affairs and his wife is rich enough to donate some 'ketchup' money ....isn't life ironic ? ;)

Well I can't say I'm surprised ex-soldiers who leave the military struggle financially. I think anybody who quits their job and wants to change careers faces a struggle.

However, I would think the military could arrange state-side assignments for soldiers who have served a qualifying amount of time in a combat zone. That way they could stay employed in the military but wouldn't have to face further combat burnout.
