I'm momentarily at a loss for words. Don't want to attract too much attention, but I just can't resist reaching out---just slightly-- to fellow "anti-socialites." Upon taking the mbti in a class recently I suddenly realized why I could work in a company of 100 people and not relate to a single one. Wow! You mean there isn't anything "wrong" with me? I'm rare, but there are others out there? I still feel a little bit nutty.

If you worked in a company of 200, there would be another! Statistically, anyway. And I'm sure there's plenty wrong with you. Just like me. :)
This might only make you feel nuttier.
Hello and welcome.

Welcome.
An interesting thing to observe here is the differences, even among the same type. I like to think of this place as being like a room of mirrors, but with all the mirrors at different angles. Each mirror is a reflection of a part of yourself, at a different angle.

I'll rather use a crystal ball instead of a mirror ;P

But what if you cast no reflection? ;P

Hi & welcome
Reaching out is fun here, the responses you get here come from all sorts of interesting angles, it constantly surprises me. I guess its a reflection of what INTP's are noted to do to to others, but its great seeing it happen in a concentrated form.
... and there's no need to go through all the small talk crap.

Hi Miss Anthropic, glad to see you jumping in with both feet :)
"New at this....don't know what I'm doing" - and yet, we keep finding ourselves in situations where that's true :) ... again. There's a list, started by file cabinet, that that line belongs on... - (I have to go look at it again, myself.)

Welcome. We should have a country of our own, where we could meet people like ourselves every time we walked out the door. I would never be shy or feel the need to think very hard before I say anything again. I would be a regular barfly, talking to everybody. Heh. And as long as we're at it, one out of a hundred would be an extravert, who would, upon starting to talk loudly about the magnificent police academy 3 movie he saw last night be met with 99 sarcastic remarks. It'd be well funny.
Ah. To dream...
But what if you cast no reflection? ;P
uuhhh... guys... get out the garlic...
Welcome :hello:

Not to mention that SheepDog always has the very best analogies.
