Consider: criticising those who oppose capitalism on the basis of their "hypocrisy" would be rather like telling a chicken, who is in one cage in a battery farm of cages stacked up to the ceiling, each one of them being shat on through chicken-wire by the one above and shitting on the one below, that she should not oppose the caging of chickens, on the grounds that she too is shitting on the chicken below her rather than doing the "unselfish" thing and holding it in until she dies, that she is not volunteering to go and live in the cage below, and that the fact that her and all the other chickens are shitting on the one below is evidence in itself that to do so is inherent in the nature of chickens.
I don't know how original this is. Maybe erm "Dorothy" can confirm if the law of the chicken hutch is an old Argentinian idea, or whether it's just one that my gran made up herself.
