I mostly like to watch sports when only the best are left playing.
Some people just like to watch Monday Night Football.
What is yours?
I would have to say World Cup Soccer is the best. Except its only on every four years (last time I stayed up almost every night for a month). So I would have to say that I enjoy the Stanley Cup the most. I like that its 4-7 games which helps even things out sometimes. Otherwise I would probably say the SuperBowl.

I love the NFL playoffs when two old-school teams are playing a close game with blowing snow and low temperatures. New Years day used to be great when all of the good bowl were on that day. The NHL playoffs were great when there were some bitter rivalries like Toronto-Ottawa and Detroit-Colorado. College Hockey games can also be pretty intense, even in the regular season, with some good rivalries.

I enjoy March Madness and that's about it.

I like March Madness and the NFL Playoffs. MLB playoffs a little less.

Paris-Roubaix? Liege-Bastogne-Liege? Ghent-Wevelgem? I suppose I'll say Le Tour, parce que c'est le grand boucle.

I really like watching basketball(wolves), hockey, and sometimes football. I'm a big fan of the olympics, and although I like to play soccer I really don't like watching it. The worst sport to watch is baseball. It's the sport of the obvious. (if that makes sense..even if it doesn't, it still is)

World Cup. I do like watching the Colorado Rapids soccer team as well, there are always less than 500 people even at the most crowded games and it's a lot cheaper.

NHL Playoffs, March Madness, and College Bowl Week. There's always something happening.

When all the biggest bowls were on Jan 1, that was the best.
March Madness
The NFL conference championships are generally better than the Super Bowl. I think that's the way it is for a lot of tennis tournaments but tennis is far down on my list.
The intensity of the NBA and NHL playoffs is amazing but sometimes you get teams that hate each other so much all they do is pound on each other and not even try to score like NY-Miami. The Devils can be unbearable to watch as well. One of the most underrated rivalries in hockey I think is Dallas - Edmonton. I'd love to see that match up every year.

The Devils can be unbearable to watch as well.
The Devils are the cause of many of professional hockey's current problems. Before the mid-90's, the NHL was on the ascendant due to fast-paced scoring and hitting as well as goalies who did not resemble Michelin Men. (Have to blame Patrick Roy for the goalie pads, though.) Then, that team from Jersey single-handledly changed the whole philosphy of the game with its play in the '95 finals. The clutching and grabbing with huge defensemen was not called by referees who tended to reduce the number of penalty calls in the playoffs. As a result, most teams believed that the Devil's style was the only way to win in the playoffs and, therefore, brought in larger, less-skilled players at all skating positions and adopted the dreaded "neutral-zone trap."
Big open-ice hits were reduced and, if a team was actually able to develop a fore-check, it usually degenerated into grinding on the boards. Since skilled skaters could no longer take the puck into the opposing zone due to the trap, pucks were merely dumped in where good stick-handling goalies like Brodeur could easily get the puck out of his zone. Such play stiffled the development of players that could display the grace of Gretzky or Orr.
I don't think anyone will be offended by my bash of the Devils - they have no fans.

The best sporting events are the ones with the most passion. The World Cup is an obvious one, but other than that, anything where there is a big rivalry appeals to me. The biggest rivalries that I have seen are a few European soccer rivalries and American university football matches. There's nothing like a good Michigan-Ohio State game to stir the blood.

Eurocup, World Cup, Stanley Cup
But most important -- Champions League
