the part I found interesting was this comment.. funny part in bold:
I have very mixed opinions on this. And this has nothing to do with Wal Mart. I was able to buy an unedited Green Day CD from there way back when... Mostly because of my personal (spiritual) beliefs and one of my passions being "Christian" Rock. Evanescence, as much as Amy Lee wants to deny it, got their break from the Christian Music market. A lot of hardcore bands like Living Sacrifice made the push to get Evanescene out there. Amy's thanks to all of those who gave her breaks from the Christian music scene is to spit in their face(s) and spit on the face of Christ.
I admit that I am stuggling hard in my prayers for her and the band in asking for God's mercy. I am sorry if I read overly harsh.
Back to the point of the article. Parents need to know that Evanescence has turned its back on Christ and as such, there are no guarantees of a "clean" CD from them anytime soon. They should take the money back and quit complaining. This is a waste of taxpayer time and money tying up the courts on something that should have been cleared up with 10 minutes of internet research on their (the parents) part.

Ptui! Ptui!
I'm all for people suing Wal-Mart, so I am really torn here, but this is retarded. One swear word that I bet her daughter has heard anyways is not worth $75,000. People are just shameless. Why not just return the CD and sue Wal-Mart for something worthwhile, like hiring migrant workers for less than minimum wage.

i agree with the suit because it is something of a scam as in pg 13 movies where the word fuck appears but actually it is not bad what would be worse is if it appeared in pg movies which i do not doubt has happened

Evanescence is pure musical obscenity. I believe I would physically die if I heard that whaling voice for over five minutes straight.

What the hell is wrong with swear words anyway.Helps us express ourselves better.
Just imagine saying, "o gosh, my car is stolen"."Darn, i didnt get a raise"
The right word at the right time dammit!!
As for the music CD, evanascence sucks anyway, so it doesnt matter.I wonder how people could make out the words between all the screaming though.

You say cram, my man, you cannot understand.
How could you be so cold to the brotherman?
So Don't come around preachin' and teachin', my chigger.
'Cause a chigger like me, you ain't reachin, my chigger.
All I care about is sellin' my yayo.

WTF? What about all the swear words in hip/hop, rap, pop and other types of music. Why is Wal*mart being sued when all the other stores are selling it too?

That's messed up. It's such a pathetic world we live in, where anyone can sue you at the drop of a hat.

How can a 13-year-old be so overprotected? It's scary.
When I was that age I bought my own CD's (Actually, LP's and tapes. Whatever.), and my parents didn't care at all what I listened to as long as I didn't force them to listen to it.
But then again, we don't sue each other that often over here either. And we don't have Wal-Mart. Poor us.

I believe it is because Wal-Mart only sells "clean" or "edited" CD's.

Wal-Mart should be praised for disobeying government regulations and providing work for migrant workers.
