So anyway... I was looking though my chat logs and I remembered this really irritating conversation I had. I removed what a few people in the convo said about other things and shortened her random idiocy. I also changed the names.

Isn't it so annoying how many idiots there are in chat rooms? It just got me so irritated that I had to rant. Ah well... they are sort of amusing to look at though. Anyone else have idiotic conversations?

When I'm feeling "in the mood", I often play along or even become more annoying than the others and have fun messing with their heads. If you talk like them they initially think you're on the same level as them, only to realize too late that they have been made fools of (this is especially fun when playing online, like in starcraft or gunbound :D).
Of course, there are varying versions of idiots; different types call for different approaches. Being NTP though, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out how to deal with them, eh?

Reminds me of the joke:
"A guy goes to the doctor and says, 'doctor, it hurts when I do this'. The doctor replies, 'then don't do that.'"
Trust me Warrior, you are going to find people that talk a lot without saying anything all over the place ;)
It's hard, but I try and live by Murphy's Law, "Never argue with a fool, people might not know the difference."

How many laws did Murphy write? Industrious M-F!

I've seen some dumb people online... but I haven't seen anyone that stupid. I'm sorry you had to put up with that. wow. Are you sure they weren't purposefully being that stupid?

I wonder why you even bothered.
Were you bored? Lol.
My bro is an ISFJ and likes to piss people off in chatrooms for amusement.
I find it funny for a while and then it gets boring.

She was apparently a friend of a friend of a friend of one of my online friends or something. I'm pretty sure she's as stupid as it seems, I think someone invited me in another conversation with her later which I left quickly after she said something about "w00t being a preppy word". It was actually fun at the time, it was like conversing with a real live n00b. And yes I was bored. B)
I haven't been in a chatroom since like '99 for that very reason... it is so lame it hurts.

Yes I've done that many times. It's especially amusing in first person shooters, when they type out long death threats and become an easy target.

this isn't the case in #intp (http://intpcentral.com/index.php?mode=irc) [for the most part...]

Indeed, we're usually pretty good about stuff. Although we are quite random, it usually kind of makes sense, at least to us :)
In general though-yes. I agree with you.

Well, maybe I should add that it started as a conversation between me and friends, then they added friends, their friends added friends etc. until it became madness. I usually don't go to chat rooms but I like chatting with friends.

Why in the hell didn't you just block her?

It doesn't matter with MSN if someone is blocked. In a conversation with multiple people it doesn't do anything.

Thats why I have stopped going on to chat rooms too many stupid people.
