where to begin? a greeting seems appropriate, greetings. after browsing the posts on this forum i find it hard to believe that all the posters are of the mbti intp type, but i suppose you can't screen. im not sure if im even intp,, the ridiculous online questionnare style tests have me pegged as some sssssort of detached brain that excels at architectural design... oh well, i'm glad i found this place. i lurked a little through an infp forum before becoming completely bored... i realized what the F represented, it did not represent my preference. anyway ;;; ( oh yes... almost forgot... this is INTP Central > The Engine Room > Introductions ) Hello everybody, I'm a twenty year old male from southern Looweeziana, I have no clue who I am or what I do but I have noticed myself play music and juggle and smoke and analyze ideas to death. I I abhor redundance. I hate when peoplpe plle repeat themselves. I am not drunk. Shut up. I am not a basket case.

They're not. We have a couple advertised non-INTPs, and some I would love to subject to the hand test in Dune.

what is this hollow tree / hand test? hey... now I remember you... edmond, you were in that weird-for-the-sake-of-weird kubrik movie about ultra violent rapists and controversial criminal rehabilitation. Are you still doing movies? Oh... that's too bad. Whatch do you rather, 09090990 the original burgess clockwork ending? Or the american one.? Is that right... you play video games too, right? Both of you do? Congratulations. Merry christmas.

In retrospect, I think it was a box in Dune. My memory is vague, but you stick your hand in there, and if the beast inside thinks you're "the real deal" in some way, he doesn't eat it.
I haven't read the book. The movie's good enough, and I don't believe weird for the sake of weird.
