These are the kind of things that make me really question how our nation still stands today.
Not that I'm against conservatives, but the things in that link just seem completely unreasonable and ungrounded. It just seems like prejudice, hate, and ignorance. When deciding what path a country should take, these factors probably shouldn't get involved.

I want the Reagan one.
EDIT: no wait! The gun diversity one!

I thought it was just pure, unbridled stupidity.
Some of the shirts were funny... but I've met enough people who actually meant them (rather than joking about them) to be put off by the whole mess. [And if you really want to get on my bad side, throw in a picture of Ann Coulter for good measure.]
People are welcome to their opinions, so that we can all find the best answer(s), but the attitude here has nothing to do with intelligible conversation, it's just promotion of dogma.

All right. That sort of Ann Coulter picture, I can stomach.
As long she stays far away from me (preferably in that Florida country where she was registered to vote illegally... heh).

BWAH! Coulter looks better than real in that pic.
P.S. to Mac: Yeah, I quoted the pic. Officer, do your duty.
Hehe... they're good, especially the gun diversity one. I see many Americans still stand for the ideals of private ownership and personal liberty, nice to know the whole world isn't crazy.

Personal liberty.... except for the war on drugs.

Well first thing, they were just shirts. People have opinions and like it or not they may be different than yours and in America we have the right to express ourselves. Besides both parties do the same thing, not that I am condoning that, so it is not very fair to just point at conservatives.

It's not so much that the opinions are different than mine so much as they aren't reasonable and seem, like Fortunato said, to just promote dogma.
My point is that if people look take our government and its aws so lightly we are surely headed down a dark road. I am asking that people have educated opinions, for whichever side, not just rebelliousness and shock value.

It's easy to favor everyone having liberty to do what they personally like. It's not so easy to favor everyone having liberty to do what they don't personally like.

what on earth are you talking about? liberals are much more sophisticated (http://www.outspokenclothing.com/cgi-bin/cpshop.cgi/political) and intelligent. (http://www.bant-shirts.com/AntiBush.htm) Only they should be allowed to vote.

Having looked through those two sites, I was disappointed there were no cat shirts to be found!
I hypothesize the political affiliations of the country's residents tend toward the following:
Those that own a:
cat/small dog= liberal
bigger dog than a small dog= conservative
Back on topic... I would love to see people wearing left or right wing shirts in public. Then I would know who to stay away from.

Lighten up -- they're T-shirts, not party platforms.
Besides, it's ok to be contemptuous of the contemptuous.

Yeah. I'll make an exception for the "form-fitting" and "body-hugging" shirts for the ladies, especially the Wiccan-type stuff b/c not only is it the most underrated religion, but also it is redolent of independence and free-thinking.

yeah, you have to be pretty free-thinking to believe in the power of 'healing wands'.
seem completely unreasonable and ungrounded. It just seems like-- humor. Develop a sense thereof.

I like (http://www.gophergas.com/funstuff/welikethamoon.htm) the moon.
Personal experience tells me that political shirt-wearers of both persuasions tend to be douchebags.

Are you kidding? Those shirts are awesome! (offensive to some who don't see the humor, yes, but I think that's the point: to offend thin-skinned people who can't laugh at themselves or others without feeling personally threatened or scorn)

I totally believe in the power of healing wands.
Which reminds me: I just saw a billboard on the way home from dinner with an ad for a credit union, and the slogan was "We're in it for the members." I was like, hey, so am I!

Well the difference between the liberal shirts and the conservative ones are that the conservative ones involve killing, and they dis communism. Capitalism seems just as evil, but alas, "Laugh and grow fat!"

Unless it's an excuse to post a pic of the Cold Conservative.

I'd rather have a giant penis on my forehead than a giant vagina....or something (better to fuck than be fucked?)
