Crappy footage. Whoever held the camera was definetely not a pro. Cmon, it's saddam... I expected bright lights and experts... He seems happy. I'm not sure if it's the grainy images or my mind playing tricks on me.

Why not? It's not gory or anything, it's just a hanging. Hangings used to gather quite big crowds back in the day. Hell, if I could attend his hanging, I probably would.

I didn't think much about it, mainly because Saddam took it well considering the situation. Unlike those brutal beheadings with screaming and screaming and them taking their good old time cutting and cutting. Those I couldn't stop thinking of, if a marine recruiter came to me within those couple days of that video on my mind I may have signed up out of anger.
