Concept
Fights could be about anything. Games, arcade games, purgatory fights, funniest pic. best joke, sexiest voice etc. only criteria is that the frames around the fight is clear and that the result can be measured e.g. by using a poll, so we can decide who the winning class is.

Rules
If you want to defend your class, post a challenge. E.g. I Park challenge two members from 2004/2005 to a Back Gammon tournament at www.pogo.com. Wait for combatants from the other two classes to take up the challenge and once all classes are represented, the fight can start. It is the challengers responsorbility to make sure that the rules and frames around the challenge are clear.

Everytime you win a whole fight, by supercilious defeating the two other classes, your class wins a point and your name/fighting discipline will be listen on the scoreboard. By the end of the year, it will be determined who the winning class of 2007 is.

Let the fight begin!!! :laser:

Class Fight Challenge - Back Gammon.
I Park challenge two members from 2004/2005 to a Back Gammon tournament at www.pogo.com. We will play match games to 7 and we will draw straws about who is to meet who first. If the winner from the first game looses to the third part and a tournament winner can not be determined on points it will have to be a retake. If you'r up for this challenge send me a PM so we can get this thing going.

lol, you sure talk about back gammon a lot. So I think anyone would be a fool to accept your challenge because you either made this because you either want an easy point for your class or you lack back gammon playing buddies. Either way :whyi:

Park, why are you pushing this class thing so much?

Oh yeah it's a great game - very strategic and complex. Cribbage is good too, but much more simplistic..

Then create another challenge which could provide you with the chance to plant your foot in my ass. If I like the challenge - I'll take it or another from 2006 will.

E.g. Class Fight about largest boobs - hmmm gimme a sec. to check which year Attilla is from.

Bah, when I finally find someone who can actually play the game, she's from my year...

Yeah, you were obviously playing on the wrong side :smooch: .

I'm up for some Spades if anyone else is. Yahoo! Spades is a good place.

May I also suggest iSketch (http://www.isketch.net). Loads of fun, and seems fit for such an idea.

I like the breast competition. -grabs popcorn and camera- Let the games begin!

Okay seriously (I was joking??), this sounds like a good idea to me. I'm not sure if it's iSketch or not, but I have played an internet drawing game that was a lot of fun. Hmmm...maybe it was Scratchpad...

Wait a minute...how could anyone NOT know how to play Backgammon?!

....Sigh I don't know how to play...correction I DO NOT want to learn to play....some one has to post an AoE 3 No rush challenge.....:)....I would rock there....

THis is a great idea and would give purpose to this whole "class of" idea ....there should be another separate forum to place these challenges... in addition to the rest of class only access forums....maybe something able to be accessed by all the classes..

Chellenges could be posted in the Community section, before you get down into the class areas..?

i refuse to learn a game for this. And the largest breasts competition would have to be renamed the fattest competition, not that everyone who has large breasts is fat...but pretty much everyone who is fat has large breasts, and we have to include both genders.

I would be happy to represent 2005 in all of the following areas:

Flamewars
Rhetoric (flamewars)
Poker
Backgammon against anyone but Park
Limerick Composition
Most unruly goatee
Bong hits
Goldeneye, MarioKart, or Starfox on the N64
Antagonism of booyalab
Making fun of bergenski
Mini-golf
Trivia
Pencil fighting
Biggest boobs/fattest
Scrabble
Checkers
Hearts
Pushups... wait, we have some military people here, maybe not
Karaoke
Fighting
Settlers of Catan
Tequila shots
Worst dressed
Rock, Paper, Scissors

I would also be ready to participate in the team events of:

Charades
Dominoes
Not sucking as much as '04 or '06

I would like to say I'd play chess as well, but I am simply too incompetent at chess played on a computer screen and not an actual board. If we ever have the super meetup, I'd play there, and we could also have a lot of the other contests there (karaoke, tequila shots, mini-golf, and so on). But, that said, I would prefer it if '06 people weren't eligible to attend the meetup. Who the fuck wants that bunch of n00bs hanging around?

Does that mean that the first class fight is just waiting for a 2004 fighter?
...and if so, could the frames around this fight be specified?

In that case, it's up to Hustler as the challenger to create some clear frames around the tequila tournament to ensure that we get a clean fight    .

Alright Park.

Class Fight Challenge - Spades
I Stoned_Rider challenge two teams from 2004/2005 to a Spades tournament at games.yahoo.com. I will need a partner from 2006 for this obviously. We will have three teams of two. Each team gets to play with the other two teams. For each match, the first team to win three games also wins the match (Best of five). In order to avoid a re-take in case a tournament winner cannot be determined on points alone, we will have to resort to the team with the highest total of games won over the course of their two matches. So, if you win a match 5-0, your chances of winning the tournament are better than if you just barely win 3-2.

6 Jan 2007, 11:38 AM
PS - I'd totally take Hustler on when it comes to bong hits.

Edit: Checkers and Hearts as well.

That's a valid challenge, question if how to prove it?
On the score board, I don't care about how 2006 wins as long as we DO win.

...actually, I'm pretty sure we have an advantage (http://forums.intpcentral.com/showthread.php?t=17704).

The 2006 n00bs on the other hand are lame-o

But that would be an entierly new challenge.

Your first challenge would be to decide which year had produced most useless thread and second challenge to decide which year had the lamest posters.

Your first challenge would be to decide which year had produced most useless thread and second challenge to decide which year had the lamest posters.the first challenge is easy, the second one is much tougher as it's entirely subjective. In the end, there aren't enough posters from each class that could be unanimously dubbed "lamest ever".

Well, set up the challenge frames around the first challenge then and make it official.

Probably best to do it in purgatory.

What the fuck is Back Gammon?

I'm just really glad to discover it wasn't what I thought it was, 'cause all this time I've been wondering why in God's name Park played it online.

:Since I am far too lazy to do this myself and currently do not have photo shop installed I will challenge someone else to do this. Here is what I want: I want a photoshoped picture(or just a picture) that describes the nature of an INTP's life(or any other type's life) to put in a gallery of sorts for all the MBTI types.

Rules: 1-Don't tell me this waste of time and don't complain.
2-I will consider this a class challenge (refer to the class challenge 2007 thread) if at least one percipient from each class post one picture and agree to take part.
3- Each picture much contain a MBTI type label on it (do this how ever you like but it must be visible)
4- No inappropriate subject matter: we will consider this PG rated material.
5- You should be able to support all images etc. used in reference to your views on that MBTI type.
Prizes: There are none!..except recognition of your photoshoping talent.
