Some suggestions

I would like the post counts all changed, but when you next update phpbb will that reset the post counts to the actual numbers? (it did that with vb a couple times for me) No sense going through all the work if it will just be reset. Either way though you should give the custom titles to those who already have been named.

The flag mod can be modified to show MBTI type instead of country flags, I think that would be very helpful and out weigh any clutter it might cause, we would just have to get one of the graphics gurus to make 16 little mbti flags, I can make some simple ones quickly if no one wants to make some cool ones.

An image uploader.
I dont know if there is one for phpbb but I assume there has to be - if not maybe someone can write one. A lot of members do not have reliable image hosting, it does not take up all that much bandwidth to provide an image uploader for the forum (I used to co-own http://www.bbpix.com/ )

hmmm what else can I think of.
An ARCADE!! I love the arcades at the other forums I go to, I say we get one here too, I would love to compete against other fellow INTP's.

A Java chat room, or IRC with a java irc mod installed on the forum.
I would love to just chat with you guys too.

I've got a couple of comments/questions as well.


Custom titles: I took a look at the admin control panel's user control section, and I didn't see an option for a custom title. At the old place, you could type in a unique custom title for that particular user, but I didn't see such an option at this forum's admin control panel. It only let me select from a list of existing ranks, and it seems a little silly to create a new rank just for one particular user.

So, um, file cabinet... am I blind, or is it impossible, or can you do something about it? :huh:


The flag mod: I also think it'd be more relevant and unique for this particular forum's subject that the user's MBTI type was displayed instead of a country flag. I don't know about the coding part of the forum, so I'm just wondering if a user's MBTI type could be displayed as plain text, not as a graphic?

the same thought crossed my mind recently as well. When I implement it, it will be restricted to only the images posted on this board with an .htaccess

File cabinet, I can't read that thread, it just sends me to my own empty inbox.

I know that on one PHPBB that I frequent, moderators can make their own custom titles. I think I've even seen one that the admins gave to a normal user (they called him the Spaminator :P). So it's possible. I just don't know how. There's probably a PHPBB support board, though.

Some more suggestions

Dot folders, there are none. I have a really bad memory and I must have those dot folders to tell me which threads I have posted in.

When you make a post it takes you to a page that makes you wait before going back to the thread. I dont like waiting.

I know a bit about IRC, I will see about setting up a channel. I know a few people that run IRC servers too, I will choose the most reliable and let you know.

That is all I can think of right now, great job so far.

I've made some little personality type graphics. The colors are a bit feminine because I used a drag and drop blinkie maker (yes, I'm that lazy), and those are almost all made by girls. I'll post them anyway, though.
