Especially modern classicsts, electronic or film musicians, please. I've noted Paul James's picks - Holmboe, Shostakovich, Schnittke, etc. - so I thought I'd ask after the board's personal tastes.
What panders to your Si? Music for me's always been more satisfying as a sensual indulgence than an intellectual one. These works've piqued the intersest of a particular 5w4 INTP for some time, and I should like to see what others think of them:
Debussy - Children's Corner, Pour le Piano, 12 Etudes, Images Book 1
Gorecki - Symphony no. 3 ~ "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs"
Steve Reich - Music For 18 Musicians, Sextet
Shostakovich - Symphony no. 11 ~ "1905", Piano concerto no. 2
Tchaikovsky - Dumka ~ "Russian rustic scene", Six Morceaux, Capriccio Italien suite
Lilburn - The Three Symphonies
