An interesting ploy to avoid copyright laws. Will this really happen? Why haven't extremely poor nations allowed themselves to become the bastions of such "outlaw" havens? Does this mark the start of post-modern states? Will we see a PedoLand or INTPLand?

I've read a lot about that Sealand place, and the whole thing is a ridiculous crock of shit...

Anyway, I've already done this -- well, my parents have for me. They bought me an acre of the moon in the Mare Nubium for Christmas and with it came citizenship of the sovereign nation of Luna, so when the big one hits I'll just hitch a ride to the moon and live it up, apparently!

(By the way, yes, we know it's not legitimate and that we don't actually have any land deed rights on the moon. It was the principle of the thing which mattered, plus it was kind of fun.)

Somewhere I have a book of instructions on how to create one such mini-nation. Very entertaining book.

Um, it's right off the coast of England in the English Channel. As far as I know that isn't considered Scandinavia.
