Do you have a favorite sports movie?
I tend to like the Kevin Costner movies about baseball, more than I actually like baseball itself.
Also, I really liked Varsity Blues.

I hate Notre Dame immensely. For years I refused to watch "Rudy" just for that reason. But I finally relented and found it to be a great sports movie.

I liked mighty ducks when I was a youngun', mostly because it took place in my city :)...I still haven't seen Miracle, but I want to, also due to hometown sentiment..(knew a couple of the kids of those players in high school......Herb Brooks=minnesotan).and because it's legendary, of course. I don't really like any other sports movies I've seen. Though the Rocky movies are fun.

'On any Sunday'
A 1970's movie about motorcycling featuring Steve McQueen. My father was a motorcycle racer and took me to see it when I was young. I still see it on video sometimes.

Brian's Song
haha remember that pinky&the brain episode where they satirized brian's song...."Brain's song"
Since you like running....there was this movie about a runner in prison from the early 80's. I can't remember the name right now, maybe in the evening.
I picture Brian's song being chariots of fire for some reason.

I was at my cousin's house a few years back on Thanksgiving and that movie was popped in the ol' vcr. At first I was thinking, 'holy crap, I'm gonna have to suffer through this stupid thing because I'm too stuffed and too tired to move.' But, actually, I thought it was pretty good.
