I thought I was being original! And I figured that you had no idea who Seal was because you don't even know the words to popular Lionel Richie songs.

On our road trip, he didn't know any songs. He could barely get through Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive," so any Eagles, Styx, or Human League was out of the question. I had to do both the male and female parts on "Don't You Want Me," which I really didn't mind because that's a great song.
Oooh, good karaoke choice too.

rajah, you PMed me in IRC recently about this, and i didn't even see you had until i went to go. :( i fucking HATE when that happens. errr, well, i do when i actually wanted to speak to the person.
anyway, looks like i can't make it as of now. i had a chance to buy a car, and if i come up with a bit more then i can. so i had to choose. which i hate doing when i want two different things so badly.
if i get a lump sum soon by one of the people who owe me their monetary souls then i WILL show up. this has happened before, btw, so hopefully it will again.
if i don't get to attend this one, then i'm definitely going to hit the next one, since i'll have a car and all i'll have to worry about it room and gas.
didn't ivy say she was going to be hosting one soon in NC?

I'm increasingly afraid of my hotel room. It's now only $47 on Sunday.
$190 on Friday, and $47 on Sunday. That sucks. :)
EDIT: And for an extra 30 bucks I can get the Luv Tub Room (1 King Bed With Large Oval Tub).

You know, the theory regarding this forum being made up of a total of two or three posters who maintain numerous active accounts simply to screw with the unsuspecting non-participating few . . . will be severely challenged this weekend.
In that case, it will just be three of us in Vegas while the posting rate around here drops to like three or four a day.

Apparently there's a steep cover charge there this weekend, on account of some St. Paddy's based festival they're having. In light of that, we probably ought to switch venues. My vote would be for the Aladdin center bar. Pass it along to C-Whore and have him amend the post if you want to do that.

So, I'm checking in at the Luxurious Imperial Palace, when they told me they might not be able to give me wireless. I was a little peeved b/c I'd asked about 4000 times if I could get it, and they okayed it before I booked.
So, anyway, they said they'd see what they could do. Gave me my room key. This place is a total dive. A guy almost spilled his beer on me and my luggage in the elevator. It's, like, total Spring Break Central over here.
I get to my room (on the 13th floor), and lo and behold, they upgraded me to the LUV TUB ROOM.
LUV TUB.
The mirror over the bed, and over the tub, is a little lot much.
