Well, a guarantee is Nighthawk and his wife, eyebyte, and of course, me. NH has a push, so he'll be later, but we could always go to his house and raise hell there while he works, since he lives two blocks away. Mwahaha.

The guy with the PHD was black.

And I now these people - compared notes - and verified. I do have the background in physics and engineering and was able to discuss technical stuff outside the realm of "cool talk" and get down to discussing things as they relate mathematically. Verified - Then we drank.

It is easier to dismiss people who are different than to understand the variance in human expression.

And I would rather hang at the redneck bar than the uptight richie-rich crowds I used to hang with (old co-workers).

The people at the redneck bar are at least real people - not concerned with impressing anyone.


They know who they are - and are not out to impress people.

I never hang out at those places. Like I said, love me some dive bars. But yee-haw bars aren't my thing. I still think the best bar ever was Industry before they started getting a lot business. It was semi-busy and you could play Tool and Toadies back to back on the juke-box... now it's all 50 Cent and retards.

I've only been to the End Zone once, I think, and I was totally hammered before we got there, I might give it another try, who knows. Plano has a distinct lack of bars, which I guess is why End Zone gets the business... Addison and Greenville are far drives when I'm feeling like an old man.

WTF? You live in Berkeley. Come on, that place abounds with people like us, or so I hear. I do know one suspected ENTP there.

Actually, so far as I can tell, it doesn't. I had a friend in high school tell me Berkeley would be "my mothership," and after that I guess I ended up with rediculously high expectations. Honestly, I'd say most of the people here are Js (need to be to get all the required work done, both to get admitted and and to succeed while here), and at that, probably a lot of NFs in my department (English Lit). Not that XNFJs aren't cool, of course. :)
