"It's been agreed the whole world stinks so no one's taking showers anymore."

"I never thought that I would find myself
In bed amongst the stones
The columns are all men
Begging to crush me
No shapes sail on the dark deep lakes
And no flags wave me home
In the caves
All cats are grey
In the caves
The textures coat my skin
In the death cell
A single note
Rings on and on and on"
Don't care what anyone says, The Cure was such a good band.

Oh dear dad
Can you see me now
I am myself
Like you somehow
I'll ride the wave
Where it takes me
I'll hold the pain
Release me
Oh dear dad
Can you see me now
I am myself
Like you somehow
I'll wait up in the dark
For you to speak to me
I'll open up
Release me

I wanna new face right now
and I want it bad
I wanna new body that's strong
I'm a butchered cow
I wanna try and fly
I wanna try and die
I wanna be a pig
I wanna fuck a car

What does man love more than life,
Fear more than death or mortal strife,
What the poor have, the rich require,
and what contented men desire,
What the miser spends and the spendthrift saves
And all men carry to their graves?

"I wanna be a millionaire so fucking bad." ~ by I don't know who and don't care enough to search it on Google.
I find this really disgusting and largely devastative to humanity as a whole.

The first time she met the devil was at first avenue
Went back stage with him into the dressing room
Sexy ego trip
Taller than expected
About six foot three
Seemed to thrive on his misery
Critical observant big words
Sweaty hair sunken eyes and thick nerves
She said ill make em smile for the simple fact that he needs it
I'll make him smile just so I can kill it an eat it

"and in the choir
I saw our sad messiah.
He was bored and tired of my laments.
He said, "I died for you one time, but never again"
never again, never again, never again..."
Limousines- Brand New
I was up in the hills, late at night, overlooking the grid of lights below while parked in total darkness. Shivers straight to the soul.
"Patron Saint, are we all lost like you?
Patron Saint, are we all lost like you?
Patron Saint, are we all lost like you?
Patron Saint, are we all lost like you?
Patron Saint, are we all lost like you? (Lost causes, all we are is all we are)
Patron Saint, are we all lost like you? (To you, lost...)"
Fin- Anberlin
It's a children's choir that sings that part.
"The ocean breathes salty, won't you carry it in?
In your head, in your mouth, in your soul.
And maybe we'll get lucky and we'll both grow old.
Well I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I hope so."
ocean breathes salty- Modest Mouse
I loved this part. I was introduced to Modest Mouse with this song, so the initial beauty I heard was interrupted a little later on in the song by the singers yelps and yowls. They eventually grew on me.
I hope you're unhappy and hurting inside
I want you to choke when you swallow your pride
Lay in your coffin and sleep with your sins
Give me the nails and I'll hammer them in .... right now
If I tear you open wide, take a look inside
Are you pretty?
Can I get inside your mind, see what I can find?
Are you pretty?
So just take off that disguise, everyone knows that you’re only
Pretty on the outside

Actually that one's basically a ripoff of a song by a German accapella-pop band from the late 80s or early 90s (was never sure).

Oh, right. Actually was thinking about an old fave last night. Bonus points if you can name the song no googley. (Honor system.)
"I am just an atom in an ectoplasmic sea, without direction or a reason to exist, but the anechoic nebula rotating in my brain is persuading me contritely to persist."

Killer, intruder, homicidal man
If you see me coming run as fast as you can
Blood-thirsty demon who's stalking the street
I hack up my victims like pieces of meat
Blood-thirsty demon, sinister fiend
Bludgeonous slaughter's my evil deed
My hammer's a cold piece of blood-lethal steel
I grin while you writhe with the pain that I deal
Swinging the hammer, I hack through their heads
Deviant defilers, you're next to be dead
I unleash my hammer with sadistic intent
Pounding, surrounding, slamming through your head
Yeah!
Bodies convulse in agony, and pain
I mangle their face till no features remain
A blade for the butchering, I cut them to shreds
First take out the organs, then cut off the head
The remains of flesh now sop under my feet
One more bloody massacre, the murder's complete
I seek to dismember, a sadist fiend
Bloodbath's my way of getting clean
I lurk in the alley wait for the kill
I have no remorse for the blood that I spill
A merciless butcher who lives underground
I'm out to destroy and I will cut you down
I see you and I'm waiting for Black Friday
Turn me loose!
Killer, intruder, homicidal man
If you see me coming run as fast as you can
A blood-thirsty demon who's stalking the street
I hack up my victims like pieces of meat
Blood-thirsty demon, sinister fiend
Bludgeonous slaughter's my evil deed A merciless butcher who lives underground
I'm out to destroy you and I will cut you down
It's Black Friday, paint the devil on the wall
And by the same band/lyricist...
Two hearts that shouldn't
Talk to each other become close
In a town much like a prison cell
People speak our names
On the street in hushed tones
Oh the stories they'd tell
If anyone would listen
You come from a town where
People don't bother saying hello
Unless somebody's born or dies
And I come from a place where they
Drag your hopes through the mud
Because their own dreams are all dying
And when we walk down the street
The wind sings our name in rebel songs
The sounds of the night should make us anxious
But it's much to late when the fear is gone
I will meet you in the Next Life, I promise you
Where we can be together, I promise you
I will wait till then in Heaven, I promise you
I promise, I promise
There's so many fighting
To get past the Pearly Gates
But nobody ever wants to die or get saved
Their intentions aren't that good
And I can smell the asphalt
That's their personal road to hell being paved
And when we walk down the street
The wind sings our name in rebel songs
But it's much to late when the fear is gone
I will meet you in the Next Life, I promise you
Where we can be together, I promise you
I will wait till then in Heaven, I promise you
I promise, I promise

I want to hurt you for this video. I don't know why I watched the whole thing, but I did. I know that I'm an "adult who can make his own decisions," but I blame you for this.

Part of it's the melody, but also (diff song/artist from last one):
Come on, kill the lights with troublemake
Come on, smash the lights and celebrate
Let's tie a yellow ribbon around the necks
Of the motherfuckers living for the giving in
Move with the rogue set choking out the radio
A thousand voices booming out in stereo
From top to bottom knock them down like dominoes

This feels really stereotypical. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F2e9fmYL7Y)
Cracks in the pavement underneath my shoe
I care less and less about and less about you
No one else around to look at me
So I can look at my shadow as much as I please
All the kicks that I can't compare to
Making friends like they're all supposed to
You will never come close to how I feel
You will never come close to how I feel
Space around me where my soul can breathe
I've got body that my mind can leave
Nothing else matters, I don't care what I miss
Company's okay
Solitude is bliss
There's a party in my head and no one is invited
And you will never come close to how I feel
And you will never come close to how I feel
Movement doesn't flow
Quite like it does when I'm alone
I'll be the one who's free
You and all your friends
Can watch me, today
Don't ask me how you're supposed to feel
You will never come close to how I feel
You will never come close to how I feel
You will never come close to how I feel
You will never come close to how I feel

Pretty much every line in this song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpltQ5S4xxc&feature=related
What makes it especially awesome is its interconnectivity with the rest of the album. It's just one of those concept albums where every song fades into the next, save one maybe.
