There are ten or eleven that I read regularly. I don't usually post in them because I'm afraid of offending or talking too much 'F' mush.
Sometimes people write something that doesn't need a response. There isn't any more to add.
I only read blogs here at INTPc. Mostly just my own.
Some would say that this is egotistical, but, really... they just don't understand good taste.

well current affairs blogs would seem suited to NT's, IMO, so I was wondering what types the people on this one I post at tend to be, and why there is no apparent overlap between interest in that and interest in MBTI.

I read several progressive political blogs like Daily Kos, Firedoglake, Digby, and Steve Gilliard. (I miss Billmon's Whiskey Bar *sigh*.) I don't comment much because they're quite busy and most of the time other people say what I want to say first.
I also read a couple of blogs on auto racing. I'm mildly surprised with myself that I read no baseball blogs. Now that I think of it, it's a function of what gets coverage in the "pro" media and what doesn't. I can get enough baseball from commercial websites, but not IRL and Champ Car.
I lack dedication to continue reading one person or group, on any topic.
Maybe that's why I prefer forums - they're ever-evolving. The good ones, at least.

I have my own blog elsewhere. I haven't been posting in it much lately ( first time in months yesterday ) because I'm childishly addicted to quick feedback. I've never posted in a blog other than my own before ( except for on INTPC ), but I have posted on other forums or places like musician sites.
I do READ them, however, but not as often as many do. I'll be doing a search in Google for something, and it will turn up in the results. If I really like what I'm seeing I'd be more likely to get in touch with the person than just post in the blog.

i read three elsewhere, because they're just very good, and i skim most of the ones here, because i'm just very bored. a few are good here, though- rhu's ,except when he's whining, joft's -except when he's whining, some girl kai's blog-who has mania of some sort, thinkstyle's -short, synical and sweet and npg's blog-especially when she's whining. well, that's just how my taste runs and that's from what i remember enjoying. *fart*

I don't read any blogs at the moment. If I started I probably wouldn't stop, and I don't need another time waster at the moment.
No, wait, I take that back. I've read the LiquidLogic Ladies' Lounge (http://www.liquidlogicladieslounge.blogspot.com/) pretty frequently.
Blogs are depressingly bland. If I read a blog, it's usually one featuring technical material. But I generally hate the stupid fashion that a blog web site mustn't use separate pages but create one huge page 3,000 miles high so that your scroll bar breaks; so I tend to avoid them if I can.

A blogger can change the settings to show as many posts (or days) on the front page as they desire. Thus, the ill scrollbars have a simple cure.

might this be a primary reason?

What, sensible bloggers? I'm aware of such settings. It doesn't make any difference if bloggers don't use them.

My Hubby has one, but I don't read it much. It's usually about truck stuff that doesn't interest me much or economic/political stuff that he's already told me about. I like his rants more in person than in print.
Here is my blog, while we're talking about blogs: http://ctnd.blogspot.com/

Wow, look at those eyes! And she's a kayaker too...
I liked the pic of the dude with the icicles hanging off his helmet.
Generally, I prefer forums. There are some blogs I visit, but don't tend to add comments.

There was one I read about a expensive call girl in NYC. She was definitely NT [said she was xNTP]. I loved her blog, but I never commented to let her know I read it and enjoyed it before she made it private. :boohoo: I loved her insights and identified with a lot of her ideas on things.

I don't have time to read blogs or comment on them anymore. I check out three forums and that's my internet fix for the day.
I lost my old job, so I got a new job, then my old job reappeared.
Between work and my two activities of beating the disable and small children at wheelchair basketball and beating the elderly at cards (yeah, I know I'm a really NICE PERSON!) I don't have time. I tell at slight lie, they beat me more often than not

I read that article on Chavez, it voiced something I've been feeling for a while following the news in Venezuela.
I sometimes pop by the blogs on here just to see if anything interesting has been posted lately on any of them, but I rarely comment and there aren't any I sorta commit to regularly reading. I keep my own one (http://www.allpurposenerd.blogspot.com), but not on here (and which, as far as I know, nobody from here reads), and there are a couple of others I like to read, but still only sporadically.

I read Pharyngula and Bad Astronomy. I don't read any personal "assclown-with-a-blogger-account" type journals, those pages usually have a cult of personality around the author and lend a false sense of legitimacy to the author's opinions. Unqualified morons who have a journal are wasting bandwidth.
----------
Just so you all know blogs are not blogs, they're online journals. A true blog would be similar to Fark.com, a daily updated list of links.

Yeah it's a good blog, since everything is about strategy, heh.

Someone has accused me of libel in one I created so I have taken it down and published a retraction... I hope this puts an end to it.
Blogs are so 2001, we lost our attention spans about 4 years ago and got straight to the point with the pictures. The next step is creating a website where you just upload pictures of your dirty bits. Its much more efficent to cut straight to the point. crotchbook.com?
