those wooden spoons are what make me support them. i always go for the underdog. and they havent gotten the wooden spoon every year, they did beat bull dogs that year when there was that pay scandal

Rabbitoh actually. The South Sydney Rabbitohs (or Rabbits, Bunnies if your team is playing them) are the only rugby league team playing today that were a member of the Australian Rugby League (or whatever the code was called back then) at its foundation in 1908 (or thereabouts). They have won the most premierships of any league team, but haven't won one in about 40 years, now they languish at the bottom of the table most weeks. They got kicked out of the comp a few years ago, but were allowed back in after multiple legal challenges.

I used to follow the footy when I was a kid, i now can't give a rat's about any sort of sport.
