Sally here. Have been getting into the personality thing lately and am somewhat intrigued and somewhat thrilled and somewhat freaked to find myself a *stereotype* for once in my life. INTP through and through and while I'm reacting to it emotionally as though it were astrology (It fits! so perfectly How remarkable!), I realise that the test merely classifies one's manifested personality rather than making predictions based on one arbitrary fact, and so I tell myself I shouldn't find it so surprising.

The idea of joining an INTP community is also a bit unsettling, as I see myself as an individualist, the contrast within any given group. However, I know I'll find discussions I can sink my teeth into if I stick around, so it's a fair bet that you'll find me diving into a thread now and again. Hence the introduction.

I am currently a college drop-out and am excedingly pleased with myself for making that decision, though I am apprehensive about getting employment where I want it. I'm constantly seeking internal justification for my decision, and the INTP thing is part of that.

Anyway. This is me sounding quite tedious. I try to enjoy life to the fullest so long as it doesn't actually affect me. Also, this post didn't make it through the first time, so here's hoping it shows up once and exactly once.

How many teeth do you have?

Sally

The usual adult number, minus wisdom teeth. As my dentist tells it, anyway.

She responded to the insane joke question, but not the actual one.

The teeth question is not so insane, at least in my case, since I have the normal number, minus wisdom, plus one. *another poll idea?*

Hi Sally!

Hi Sally!

Hello!

My sister actually has the normal number minus one - only three adult teeth in the bottom front, degeneratively. The little freak. :}

aye, welcome to the board, what sort of job are you looking for? where are you from?

Nice to meet you. :}

I'm from New Orleans originally, looking for a job in Seattle that I haven't actually applied for yet because I'm pinning all my hopes upon it. If that makes any sense.

I'll be leaving the challenging, rewarding, dynamic job I have currently, which I'll probably never find the equal of, but I must must *must* live in Seattle. I am deeply in love with that city.

Welcome. I suggest counting all of your teeth.

Hello. And, yes, this has made me want to get out one if those little bent mirrors... Just to be sure.

Must... resist... urge... to respond to... insane... joke... question...

A screw it. Time to divulge my exciting dental history. :D

Personally, I have the normal adult number of teeth, minus 4 (wisdom teeth), minus 2 (I have two false teeth in the upper front-right, as I was born with a cleft lip & palate, and thus am missing a couple teeth).

And I have had braces twice, once back in elementary school (I guess so my real teeth would come in straight, maybe?), and once in high school (to straighten my permanent teeth).

And now I have a permanent retainer (wire) on my bottom 4 front teeth, and I've long since stopped wearing my retainer for my upper teeth.

And, oh yeah, four or so surgeries for the cleft lip/palate stuff.

Welcome, Sally. :)

Have you already moved to the west coast?

Not yet, but I'm working on it.

My To Do list right now runs: car inspection, taxes, job app. :}

I love the weather in the Northwest. I think Washington, Oregon, or maybe even Victoria, B.C. would all be great places to live.

I don't exactly like huge cities though. Even Salt Lake City is a little big for me.

Welcome!

The weather, yes!!! Give me clouds and more clouds. :} I lived in England for a year and my *favorite* thing about it was the weather.

Well, I've always lived in big or medium cities, so I think that a smaller town would just feel too... close. Less anonymity. Less in the way of art and entertainment, to observe if not to participate in. :} Though I wouldn't mind having a retreat up in a mountain somewhere.
