I would be up for it! But it depends where and when. Saturday is booked, firday is probably not, sunday-monday not sure.

Edit: oh, and I'm a fresh off the boat immigrant, not sure what are the good places for such congregations (can't stop thinking about all this as a secret brotherhood:) ) What are the options? A Pub? A beach? BBQ? A Coffee shop in the city? Something rather intellectual?

It is the one and only way to write a date. Day/month/year.

And it's cheque not check.

Actually the international standard is year month day. (ISO 8601)
but day month year is generally accepted as okay
no one knows what the hell is wrong with the americans....
