You all are very funny. I could resist joining in no longer. So here I am, undeniably INTP (emphasis on I and T). I don't think I've ever really met another INTP in person, so it's good to finally see that there are others out there...
I am located in Virginia on the eastern side of the US of A, and would like to be anywhere but. I play guitar, among other things, and have an unhealthy obsession with theoreical physcs, Monty Python, and Mark Helprin novels. (Anyone heard of him?)

Mark Helprin novels. (Anyone heard of him?)

Hi. I can't say welcome yet due to the fact that I am still pretty new.

Mark Helprin? Mark Helprin the award-winning novelist and journalist?? The senior fellow of the Claremont Institute??? The Mark Helprin who was raised on the Hudson and in the British West Indies with degrees from Harvard College and Harvard's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences????????

Never heard of him. Sorry.

Hi.

DevNull: Guess I never realized that. I think you've been here longer than me, so I unconsciously assumed you've been here a while...

Welcome, L. Bartholomew - everyone's new at first.

... and would like to be anywhere but.Why is that? (You aren't the first Virginian to say this - but why?)

You all are very funny.
We are all completely serious. If you find that funny, I demand an apology.

I could resist joining in no longer. So here I am, undeniably INTP (emphasis on I and T). I don't think I've ever really met another INTP in person, so it's good to finally see that there are others out there...
We are not actually INTPs. I, for one, am an ESTJ in disguise. Or so I was told yesterday.

I am located in Virginia on the eastern side of the US of A, and would like to be anywhere but. I play guitar, among other things, and have an unhealthy obsession with theoreical physcs, Monty Python, and Mark Helprin novels. (Anyone heard of him?)
Do you prefer the imperial system or would you rather use metric?

And welcome.

That's awesome! Someome else that's heard of Mark Helprin.
I don't like Virginia because I came from Nevada. And in Nevada the view from my window was of Mt. Rose. I suppose there's nothing actually wrong with Virginia, I've just seen better.
Metrics are easier. And more practical.

Perfect. Had you said anything else, you would not have been welcome.

Hi callie *abasourdie qu'on me pose la question* - several other people here do, too (ApeTheDog and SugarAddict, e.g. ... and maybe heero? more than that, anyway).

And melancholeric speaks Finnish - although, not to me, after I laughed at what I thought was a joke. (I don't understand Finnish, anyway)
